Saturday night was fun, noisy, crowded (boy, was it crowded) with more women attending then I can remember. Everyone was having fun although the sound system was making a few of us deaf pretty early. Wore the kilt with a red t-shit that had 3 gnomes on it with the caption of, "Chilling with my Gnomies". Some people laughed, some groaned but most just knew it was me being me. Alas, when they had the 50/50 draw, I decided that it was time to call it a night. Left the bar with my ears ringing.
Sunday at 11, set off to the "Farm" for the events wearing another t-shirt with a Squirrel on it with the caption, "Squirrels: Life's little speed bumps". I was eager to see Al and Dan's place. All I can say is "WoW!! That is one nice piece of country heaven close to the city. The house, the pond, the barn (nuff said). The rain was nice but I would be lying if I didn't say that the sun would have really added the final touch. Food, people, Suzie Q the guide dog, made for a enjoyable afternoon until my companion decided that he was feeling ill and wanted to leave. (amazing recovery on the way home though...............nuff said).
It was wonder seeing Mathan, Scottybear, FuzzBearMark, cosmic_coyote, bigfootcub, Sir 'C' and Rocco, Rams, so many others (I hate trying to remember everyone's name when Blogging) and of course Chaz (mc4bbs) during the weekend. I have a rough idea who will be at the Rams Run but I am hoping a few more change their minds and come.
I have started planning for the party over the July long weekend in Canada (I'm sure that Mathan and Scottybear will get a kick out of the cocktail party). Grape or Blueberry?? Enough about that one for now.
I never did get a chance for a one-on-one conversation with Mathan or Scotty (hint, hint, hint..........direct hint) as well as a few other people but hope to do so in the future.
Dropped off a few packages that I had in the car at the Forum Sunday evening for Terry the Bartender and ended up in a rather interesting conversation with a gentleman who had wanted to take me home for years but felt that I would say no. Need less to say, it came as a complete shock to me. Gave him my business card and said we would have to do dinner sometime soon.
Off to bed I go......................this Monday afternoon and evening has been a series of interesting events that I will write about tomorrow.

Governor Cuomo signed the bill immediately after it was passed, so one more obstruction removed. And I'm not quite sure what basis it can be challenged on, since it was legally passed in both…
