I. Candidature
Suis-je éligible à la bourse IdEx ?
La bourse IdEx Université Grenoble Alpes s’adresse à des étudiants internationaux :
■ primo-arrivants (dernier diplôme obtenu dans une université étrangère), ou
■ ayant obtenu leur baccalauréat à l’international.
La sélection se fait sur la qualité du dossier académique.
La bourse peut être attribuée à des étudiants entrant dans le niveau M1 ou M2 ou équivalent en cycle ingénieur (« 2A »
équivaut au niveau « M1 », « 3A » au niveau « M2 »).
Comment postuler ?
Pour candidater à la bourse IdEx, vous devez suivre les étapes suivantes.
1. Postulez à un ou plusieurs Masters
La première étape est de postuler en Master dans l’une des 4 composantes académiques du site :
Ecole Nationale d’Architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG)
Institut polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP – UGA)
L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grenoble (Sciences Po – UGA)
L’Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA)

2. Formulez votre demande de bourse
Lors de votre candidature en Master, vous avez la possibilité d’indiquer votre souhait de candidater à la bourse IdEx. En
fonction des formations, cela se fait :
au moment de la candidature au Master ;
après avoir candidaté au Master. Dans ce cas, vous devez écrire à la scolarité de la formation choisie et/ou au
responsable pédagogique.
Ce sont les responsables du Master qui étudient les candidatures à la bourse IdEx. Votre identité n’est communiquée au
service IdEx Formation si que votre candidature à la bourse est retenue.
3. Avis d’attribution
en cas d’avis favorable à votre candidature à la bourse, vous recevrez une notification de bourse de la part de
l’IdEx Formation, qui vous indiquera les démarches à effectuer. Attention, il y a plusieurs étapes, étalées sur plusieurs
semaines.
en l’absence de réponse, ou si vous souhaitez obtenir plus d’informations sur l’avancement de votre
candidature à la bourse, nous vous invitons à prendre contact directement soit avec les responsables de votre Master
soit avec le service de la scolarité du Master. Il est possible que vous soyez sélectionné.e pour le Master sans être
bénéficiaire de la bourse IdEx Formation.

Quel est le montant de la bourse ?
Le montant de la bourse IdEx dépend de votre année d’études. Le montant maximum est fixé par année académique, soit 10
mois.
pour un niveau M1/2A, le montant maximum est de 9 000 € nets non imposables
pour un niveau M2/3A, le montant maximum est de 5 500 € nets non imposables
Attention !
Si vous bénéficiez d’une autre bourse, vous avez l’obligation d’en informer le service IdEx Formation. Le montant
total de vos bourses perçues ne pourra pas dépasser le montant attribué dans le cadre de la bourse. Le montant de votre
autre bourse sera déduit du montant accordé par l’IdEx Formation.
Calendrier
Les candidatures à la bourse IdEx étant liées aux candidatures en Master, vous devez vous référer au calendrier de
candidature de la formation à laquelle vous candidatez. Les candidatures à la bourse IdEx sont ouvertes de mars à juillet et
sont traitées par ordre d’arrivée.
II. Attribution
Dois-je payer des frais d’inscription ?
L’obtention d’une bourse IdEx ne dispense pas de payer les frais d’inscription. La dispense ou le paiement des frais relève
des formations. Pour plus de renseignements, veuillez contacter le responsable du Master ou la scolarité du Master.
Quand recevrai-je la bourse ?
Le versement de la bourse IdEx s’effectue en deux paiements distincts de 50%.
Pour une arrivée en septembre, le calendrier est le suivant :
un premier versement à la mi-octobre, après confirmation par la formation de votre inscription
administrative et pédagogique et de votre présence aux enseignements;
un second versement en février, après confirmation par la formation de votre présence en cours et aux
examens du premier semestre.
A noter : dans le cas (rare) d’une arrivée au 2ème semestre, le versement intervient après l’arrivée, sur confirmation de
l’inscription et de la présence aux enseignements du Master.
Les versements sont conditionnés à l’ouverture d’un compte bancaire à votre nom (français ou dans la zone SEPA).
Il vous faudra enregistrer votre Relevé d’Identité Bancaire (« RIB » ou « IBAN ») sur la plateforme de l’IdEx Formation. Vous
recevrez un lien vers cette plateforme, Move’On, avec la notification d’attribution de bourse.
La bourse est-elle valable pour 2 ans ?
Non. La bourse de Master IdEx Formation n’est accordée que pour une année académique. Dans le cas où vous seriez
lauréat.e de la bourse au niveau M1, et souhaiteriez continuer à bénéficier de la bourse au niveau M2, il sera nécessaire que
vous candidatiez à nouveau.
Prenez information auprès de votre secrétariat de scolarité ou de votre responsable de Master.
III. Aide à la recherche de logement
En tant que boursièr.e, vous aurez la possibilité d'être accompagné.e dans la recherche d’un logement étudiant, sous
conditions.
Votre demande d’aide à la recherche d’un logement doit être saisie dans le formulaire que vous remplirez suite à la
notification d’attribution de bourse.
La demande sera transmise automatiquement aux organismes en charge de l’affectation des logements universitaires
(l’International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) à Grenoble, et le Département des Relations Internationales de l’ESISAR
à Valence). Toutes les informations relatives à l’attribution des logements seront communiquées par ces organismes.
L’accès à un logement n’est pas garanti. Cependant, vous pourrez bénéficier à minima de conseils pour votre recherche de
la part d’ISSO ou de l’ESISAR.

I. Application
Am I eligible to the IdEx scholarship?
The IdEx Formation Master’s Scholarship is intended for the following students:
currently enrolled in a university outside France, or who have obtained their last degree in a foreign university
who obtained their baccalaureate abroad
The selection is based on high academic potential. The scholarship may be allocated to students entering a first or second
year of a Master’s degree, or its equivalent in the engineering field (2A equivalent to M1, 3A equivalent to M2).
How to apply?
In order to apply to the IdEx scholarship, you shall take the following steps:
1. Apply to one or several Master’s degrees
The first step is to apply for a Master’s degree at one of the 4 institutions composing UGA:
École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG),
Institut polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP),
Sciences Po Grenoble – School of Political Studies (IEP)
Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA)

2. Indicate your wish to apply to the scholarship
When applying for a Master’s degree, you have the possibility to indicate your wish to apply to the IdEx Formation
Master’s scholarship.
This must be done in accordance with the calendar for each curriculum and:
either online, when applying to the Master;
if not possible, by writing to the School Registrar and/or the Head of the curriculum.
Your application to the IdEx scholarship is reviewed by the Master’s academic team and sent to the IdEx team if selected.
3. The decision
If you are selected for the scholarship, you will receive a formal notification from the IdEx Formation staff,
and be informed of the multi-step procedure to follow to confirm your approval of it;
If you don’t receive any answer, or if you wish to have more information about the progress of your
application, we invite you to contact the Master’s team directly (either the academic team or the school
office). It is possible you are selected to the Master’s but not to the scholarship.
How much can I receive from the scholarship?
The amount of the IdEx scholarship depends on your study year. The maximum amount is set per academic year, i.e. 10
months.
for the first year of a Master’s degree / 2A year, the maximum amount is 9 000 € netto and tax-free income
for the second year of a Master’s degree / 3A year, the maximum amount is 5 500 € netto and tax-free income
Caution!
If you receive another scholarship, you are requested to report to the IdEx Formation team. The full amount of your
scholarships cannot exceed the amount allocated by the IdEx Formation. The amount of your other scholarship will be
deducted from the amount awarded by the IdEx Formation.
Calendar
Since applications for the IdEx scholarship are linked to applications for a degree, you must refer to the application
calendar of the degree(s) you are applying to.
Applications for the IdEx scholarship as such are open from March to July and will be dealt with on the basis of the best
files plus in the chronological order the applications have been received.
II. Awarding
Does obtaining my scholarship exempt me from paying tuition fees?
The waiving of tuition fees rests with the Masters.
Obtaining an IdEx scholarship does not exempt you from paying tuition fees. For more information, please contact the
Registrar (=scolarité) of the Master’s degree.
When will I receive the scholarship?
The payment of the IdEx scholarship is made in two separate payments of 50%.
For arrivals in September, the schedule is as follows:
a first payment mid-October at the earliest after confirmation by the Master's supervisors of your registration and
attendance at the Master's lessons (meaning : after you have paid due tuition fees);
a second payment in February after confirmation by the Master's supervisors of your attendance at the exams and
classes.
In the case of an arrival on semester 2, payment is made after arrival, upon confirmation of attendance at the Master's
lessons.
These payments are conditional on the opening of a French bank account or a SEPA-area bank account in your own name.
You will have to save your Bank Identity Statement (‘RIB’ or ‘IBAN’) on the IdEx platform (you will receive the link together
with the award notification of the scholarship).

Is the scholarship valid for the two years of my academic program?
No. The IdEx Formation Master’s scholarship is only granted for one academic year. If you are awarded the IdEx scholarship
for the first year of your Master’s degree, and would like to continue to benefit from the scholarship during the second
year of your Master’s degree, you must apply again.
Please directly contact the School Registrar or the degree Faculty on this subject.
III. Help finding accommodation
As an IdEx scholarship holder, you have the possibility to be supported by a student accommodation service, subject to
conditions.
Your request for assistance in finding accommodation must be entered in the scholarship application form. The request
will be sent to the organizations in charge of allocating university accommodation (the International Students and
Scholars Office (ISSO) in Grenoble, and the ESISAR International Relations Department in Valence). All information
relating to the allocation of accommodation will be communicated to you by them.
No accommodation is guaranteed. Rest assured, however, that you will receive advice from ISSO or ESISAR regarding your
search for accommodation.
