CONJUGATION OF VERBS – TENSES

a) Present tense → Clue words : Aujourd’hui, tous les jours/tous..., ce soir/cet/cette…,

toujours/souvent,en ce moment, actuellement, or a statement ithout any clue word.
ER verbs : Cut “er” and add <<e, es, e, e, ons, ez, ent, ent>>
** Revise the irregular conjugation of verbs
IR verbs : Cut “ir” and add <<is, is, it, it, issons, issez, issent>>
** Revise the irregular conjugation of verbs
RE verbs : Cut “re” and add <<s, s, -, -, ons, ez, ent, ent>>
** Revise the irregular conjugation of verbs
OIR verbs : All are irregular. Revise.

b) Passé composé : → Clue words : Dernier, dernière, Hier, il y a (ago)+ no.

Formation of past participle : Regular

Formation :
ER and IR verbs → to the infinitive verb add the following : <<ai, as, a , a, ons, ez, ont, ont>>

RE verbs →Cut “er” and add the above endings.

OIR verbs →All are irregular.

Ex: Parler – Je parlerai, tu parleras, il/elle/on parlera, nous parlerons, vous parlerez, ils/elles

Finir – Je finirai, tu finiras, il/elle/on finira, nous finirons, vous finirez, ils/elles finiront
Vendre – Je vendrai, tu vendras, il/elle/on vendra, nous vendrons, vous vendrez,

d) Futur proche : →preposition of places dans (in) + time indication

Formation : Aller + infinitive (Going to + verb)

Ex : Je vais faire mes devoirs.
** Futur action which is going to happen in some short period of time.
Ex : Il va prendre le taxi dans cinq minutes.
