En 1942, alors que la Seconde Guerre mondiale fait rage, le gouvernement tchécoslovaque en
exil à Londres, en collaboration avec le Royaume-Uni, met en place une opération audacieuse :
l'assassinat de Reinhard Heydrich, le redoutable "protecteur du Reich" en Bohême-Moravie et
l'un des nazis les plus puissants.

Trois parachutistes tchèques, Jan Kubiš, Jozef Gabčík et Josef Valčík, sont envoyés dans leur
pays natal pour mener à bien cette mission périlleuse. Malgré un atterrissage loin de leur zone
de largage et des débuts difficiles, ils parviennent à rejoindre Prague et trouvent refuge chez
une famille de la résistance.

Avec l'aide de leurs contacts tchèques, les trois hommes élaborent un plan minutieux pour

In 1942, as World War II rages on, the Czechoslovak government-in-exile in London, working
with the United Kingdom, hatches a daring operation: the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich,
the ruthless "Protector of the Reich" in Bohemia and Moravia and one of the most powerful
Nazis.

Three Czech paratroopers, Jan Kubiš, Jozef Gabčík, and Josef Valčík, are sent to their
homeland to carry out this perilous mission. Despite a landing far from their drop zone and a
difficult start, they manage to reach Prague and find refuge with a resistance family.

With the help of their Czech contacts, the three men devise a meticulous plan to eliminate
Heydrich. On May 27, 1942, in the heart of Prague, they launch their attack as the Nazi dignitary
travels by tram to work. The assassination, although not killing Heydrich instantly, inflicts fatal
injuries that lead to his death a few days later.

However, the success of the operation comes at a high price. The Gestapo, unleashed,
launches a massive manhunt to find the assassins. The resistance members involved in the
operation are tracked down, arrested, and executed. Kubiš and Gabčík, cornered in their
hideout, engage in a heroic battle against the German forces before committing suicide to avoid
capture.
