1. Adjusted for former East Pakistan portion of assets and liabilities of Eastern Banking Corporation, Eastern Mercantile Bank and Union Bank Ltd., whose reporting in the Press
Communiqué was discounted sine 8th February 1974, so as to make the data comparable with those in earlier period.
2. Excluding IMF A/c Nos. 1 & 2 SAF loan accounts, counterpart funds, deposits of foreign central banks, foreign governments, international organizations and deposit money banks etc.
3. Separate compilation of Net Foreign Assets was started in 1988.
4. Excluding inter-bank deposits, deposits of central, provincial governments and foreign constituents.
5. Data since 1971 for former West Pakistan is being published.
6. As per BSD Circular No. 9 dated 18-7-2006, the amounts of Time Deposits with tenor of less than six months have been included to Demand Deposits from July 06.

1: The data has been revised due to inclusion of privatization commission account with NBP in government deposits since Jun 2003 to Jun 2006 (half yearly basis) and Jun 2006 on monthly
basis up to end-Jun 2007.
2: Compilation of M1 based on weekly data has been discontinued and other aggregates are available in the new format continued.
