Suivez les instructions pour créer

un compte utilisateur et finaliser
l’achat.

Le compte utilisateur vous

permettra de télécharger à
nouveau les produits achetés et
de récupérer vos codes
d’activation pour les produits
protégés par un système de
gestion des droits numériques.

Après confirmation de la
commande, si vous souhaitez
activer immédiatement la mise à
jour cartographique que vous
venez d’acquérir, cliquez sur «
Associer un véhicule »
Vous pouvez également activer
vos cartes depuis « Mon compte
», section « Gérer les produits ».

Associez votre produit à un

véhicule. Si vous n'avez pas créé
un véhicule dans votre compte,
veuillez le faire sans attendre.
Pour créer un véhicule, vous
devez saisir son numéro
d'identification de véhicule (VIN),
un surnom, son modèle, son
année de construction et si
nécessaire le système de
navigation.

ATTENTION : il est impératif de

saisir le VIN de manière exacte,
sinon le système de navigation
refusera la clé d’activation.
Cliquez ensuite sur « Ajouter un
véhicule »

Ensuite, retournez à Gérer mes

produits pour associer un produit
à un véhicule.
Associez le produit avec le
véhicule.

La clé d’activation est ensuite

générée et affichée. Vous
pouvez passer à l’étape «
TELECHARGEMENT ».
A tout moment, vous pouvez
retrouver cette clé d’activation
dans l’email de confirmation qui
vous a été envoyé, ainsi que
depuis « Mon compte » Gérer
mes produits ».

3. PREPARATION DE LA CLE USB

La clé USB destinée à recevoir les Zones

à Risque doit être en format FAT 32/MBR
afin d’être reconnue par le système.
Afin d’éviter les problèmes éventuels,
vous vous pouvez la réinitialiser avant la
copie des fichiers de mise à jour
cartographique.
Attention : le formatage effacera tous les
fichiers présents sur la clé USB.
Sous Windows :
• Insérez la clé USB dans votre
ordinateur
• Lancez l’Explorateur de Fichiers
(appui simultané sur touche
« Windows » et « E »)
• Cliquez avec le bouton droit sur la
clé USB, puis « Formater » dans
le menu contextuel
• Sélectionnez « FAT32 (par défaut)
» comme système de fichier, puis
cliquez sur Démarrer

4. TELECHARGEMENT

Les Zones à Risques ou mises à jour

cartographiques peuvent être
téléchargées depuis la page de
« Confirmation de votre commande »
après achat.
Elles sont également accessibles à tout
moment depuis « Mon compte », section
« Afficher mes commandes »
Nota Bene : les Zones à Risques (hors
abonnement) restent disponibles jusqu’à
45 jours après achat, ou après 3
téléchargements.

Téléchargement manuel
Cliquer sur le lien « Téléchargement»,
votre navigateur va vous proposer de
télécharger un fichier « .ZIP » dans
l’emplacement de votre choix.

Décompresser le contenu du fichier

téléchargé sur la racine de la clé USB :
• Ouvrir le fichier téléchargé
• Copier le contenu du fichier ZIP :
appui simultané sur les touches
« CTRL » et « A » pour tout
sélectionner puis « CTRL » et
« C » pour copier
• Coller dans la clé USB: clic droit
sur la clé USB dans l’Explorateur
de Fichiers puis coller
Nota Bene : le système de navigation ne
supporte pas les fichiers compressés, la
mise à jour ne sera pas reconnue si le
fichier ZIP est copié directement sur la clé
USB.

5. INSTALLATION DANS LE SYTEME DE NAVIGATION

Installation
Insérez la clé contenant les fichiers Zones à
Risques dans le port USB du système de
navigation.
La mise à jour est détectée
automatiquement par le système de
navigation

Confirmez le lancement de la mise à jour en

cliquant sur "Oui".
Les Zones à Risque sont ensuite installées
dans la mémoire interne du système de
navigation.
Vous pouvez ensuite retirer la clé USB du
système de navigation une fois l’installation
terminée.

Affichage des alertes (hors guidage)

En dehors du mode guidage (navigation), le Radar fixe de vitesse* :
système vous alerte de la présence de
Zones à Risques qui se trouvent dans
l’environnement du véhicule.
* Conformément à la réglementation en Radar de feu rouge*:
vigueur pour chaque pays, l’information sur
les radars fixes, les radars feux rouge peut
être interdite.
Entrée dans une Zone à Risque*:
En France, seule la signalisation des Zones
à Risque est autorisée.

Affichage des Zones à Risque A l’approche de la Zone à Risque :

L’approche d’une Zone à Risque est
signalée par une alerte sonore et/ou
visuelle (selon les options de configuration,
afin de vous permettre d’anticiper la Zone à
Risque.
Lorsque que vous franchissez ce
pictogramme, l’alerte disparait, vous êtes
dans une zone de danger, soyez
vigilant.
Les Zones à Risque ont des
longueurs prédéfinies de 300 m en
agglomération, 2 km sur route hors
agglomération, 4km sur autoroute.
Si la Zone à Risque ne s’applique qu’aux
véhicules circulant en sens inverse, le
pictogramme zone de danger s’affiche, Après le pictogramme vous êtes dans la Zone à
mais l’alerte ne se déclenche pas. Risque

Affichage des alertes de radars de

vitesse
Dans les pays dans lesquels l’information
est autorisée, le système de navigation peut
vous alerter en cas de survitesse à
l’approche d’un radar de vitesse.

access to your purchased
downloads and your
activation codes for digital
rights protected products.

After confirming the order, if

you want to activate the map
update you have just
purchased straight away,
click on "Associate a
vehicle"

Next, click on the "Associate

vehicle " button or add a
new vehicle.
Link your product with a
vehicle. If you have not
created a vehicle in your
account yet, please create
one.

To create a vehicle you

need to enter the VIN, a
nickname, and enter the
model, year and if required
the navigation system.
NOTE: It is essential that
you enter the VIN
accurately; otherwise, the
navigation system will reject
the activation key.
Finally, click on "Add a
vehicle and generate the
activation key".
Note: If you have previously
added a vehicle/VIN, you
can select it directly after
checking that the VIN is
correct.

Then go back to manage my

products to associate a
product with a vehicle.

Downloading
Map updates can be
downloaded from the
"Confirmation of your order"
page after purchase.
They can also be accessed
from the "Display my orders"
section of "My account" at
any time.

Go to "My Account" and

click on "My Orders" to view
your previous orders, and
look at the order containing
the product

3. PREPARATION OF THE USB DRIVE

The USB drive used to download Danger

Alerts onto must be in FAT 32/MBR format
for the system to recognise it.
Reformatting the USB drive before
copying map updates onto it will ensure
you avoid any system issues.
Note: formatting the USB drive will delete
any files currently stored on it.
In Windows:
• Insert the USB drive into your
computer
• Launch File Explorer (press the
'Windows' and 'E' keys at the
same time)
• Right click on the USB drive, then
'Format' in the pop up menu
• Select 'FAT 32 (default)' as the file
system, then click on Start

4. DOWNLOAD

Danger Alerts or map updates can be

downloaded from the 'Confirm your order'
page after purchase.
You can also access them at any time
from 'My account', in the 'Show my order'
section.
Note: Danger Alerts (for non-subscribers)
is available for 45 days following
purchase, or up to a maximum of 3
downloads.

Download
Click on the 'download ' link. Your file
manager will ask to download a ZIP file to
your chosen drive.

Unzip the content of the file downloaded

onto the USB root directory:
• Open the downloaded file
• Copy the content of the ZIP file:
hold down 'CTRL' and 'A' to
select, then 'CTRL' and 'C' to copy
• Paste into the USB drive: right
click on the USB drive in File
Explorer then paste
NB: the file management system does not
support compressed files, the update will
not be recognised if the ZIP file is copied
straight onto the USB drive

5. INSTALLATION ONTO THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Installation
Insert the drive containing the Danger Alerts
files into the USB port on the navigation
system.
The navigation system will detect the
update automatically

Launch the update by clicking on 'Yes'.

Danger Alerts is then installed onto the
navigation system's internal memory.
Once the installation is finished you can
remove the USB drive from the navigation
system.

Display of alerts (while route guidance is

off) Fixed speed cameras*:

Danger Alerts functions even when route

guidance is off.
* In accordance with regulations in force in Cameras at traffic lights*:
each country, it may be prohibited to display
information on fixed speed cameras and
cameras at traffic lights.
Entering a Danger Alerts zone*:
In France, only Danger Alerts is authorised.

Display of Danger Alerts zones When approaching a Danger Alerts zone:

An audio and/or visual alert (depending on
which configuration options you have
chosen) warns you when you are
approaching a Danger Alerts zone.
When you cross the icon, the alert
disappears, meaning you are in a
Dangerous Alerts zone.
Dangerous Alerts zones are
predefined with lengths of 300m in
built-up areas, 2km on roads
outside built-up areas and 4km on
the motorway.
Where the Danger Alerts zone only applies
to vehicles coming the other way, the
Danger Alerts icon is displayed but the alert
itself is not activated. After the icon is displayed you are in the Danger Alerts
zone

Display speed camera alerts

In countries in which the display of this
information is not prohibited, the navigation
system can be set up to alert you when you
are exceeding the speed limit when
approaching a speed camera.
