3 - Carte nomme librement (restriction ?) / carte force ;
4 - Nombre nomm librement (plage restreinte de nombres ?) / Nombre forc ;
5 - Jeu normal / Jeu prpar (mont) / Jeu truqu ;
6 - Pas de calcul mental effectu par le magicien / Calcul mental fait par le magicien ;

All Cards At All Numbers : an even quirkier ACAAN effect where the spectator stops you at one place in the deck and it turns
out to be the only place that contains a facsimile of his card. a 52 to 1 card. There are several handlings for this that are explai-
ned.

Baker Al :
Dans The Secret Ways of Al Baker (2003 by Todd Karr. p 753) : plusieurs solutions sur le thme "Any Card at Any Number" :
- On page 76, there is a routine that was first published in Al Baker's Book (1933) with two decks.
- A second method was published in Al Baker's Second -Book (1935) which used the same method, however, applied short
cards to reach the force card faster.
- On page 741 in the Notebooks section (noted from Eugene Bulson notes of November of 1922), there is a routine called
Strange Coincidence. This is a small variation of the previous two.

Le jeu est strictement quelconque, emprunt et le spectateur le mlange entirement.
D'autres spectateurs prsents et le magicien peuvent ensuite le mlanger, personne ne regarde ce moment la face des cartes.
Le jeu est ensuite tal sur la table faces visibles pendant 1 ou 2 secondes, pas plus. Le magicien demande au spectateur s'il a
mmoris l'arrangement des cartes. Celui-ci rpond videmment "non". Le magicien lui demande nanmoins de nommer un
chiffre entre 1 et 52 et d'essayer de deviner la carte qui occupe cette place.
Il dit, par exemple: 35 - 7 trfle. Le magicien lui dit qu'il se trompe mais que lui-mme pense que la carte est un 5 de cur. Le
spectateur compte la carte en 35me place, c'est effectivement le 5 de cur. - premier effet.
Comme le spectateur a invers les 34 premires cartes du jeu, l'ordre de ce dernier a videmment chang, mais le magicien
peut nommer les places des 3 autres 5. Exemple 8 -29 -41. Le spectateur compte nouveau les cartes et trouve les autres 5. -
seconde srie d'effets.
Le magicien dit alors que le spectateur a peut-tre anticip les choses. Il lui demande de nommer nouveau sa premire esti-
mation : le 7 de trfle en 35 me position. Il lui demande de compter jusqu' la position 35, l'ordre initial des cartes ayant t
chang durant le test de mmoire.
Le 7 trfle se trouve maintenant en 35me position.
Pour rappel : leffet est totalement impromptu, le jeu est strictement quelconque et peut tre emprunt.
Il a t montr hier un groupe de magiciens un brin mduss durant une de ces petites runions improvises mais nanmoins
sympathiques au magasin de magie de Bruxelles.
Comme quoi, il y a encore un peu de vie magique Bruxelles...

plot. This requires the use of a stooge, however, the stooge does not need to learn or remember anything to execute the ef-
fect. I found this to be an exceptional angle on using a stooge for this effect.
- On page 535 of Mind, Myth, & Magick : Disposition : T.A. Waters shares a second solution for the "Any Card at Any Num-
ber" plot. It is based on a very interesting idea inspired by Phil Goldstein's work with very thin cards. In this routine, Waters
does not actually move the desired card, yet still moves the position of the card.

Any v 2.0 - This is the effect that appeared in MOM magazine, it's Daniel's favorite out of all these effects. The deck is
borrowed, shuffled, someone thinks of a card, deck can be shuffled again, someone names a number and a third person counts
down to that number. Surprise surprise, the thought of card is found there. Plus that you get, a presentation for this effect,
which brings it from the realm of a mere coincidence to a solid routine.
