Behrami is disqualified but Monty's back, so. I don't know what to think, after the disaster against Juventus I don't want to say anything before. I just want to say: good luck. Let's hope for the best.

So! The great match is here, with all the drama among the tifosi that you can expect when it's Juventus-Fiorentina and Fiorentina came from a negative series of results (my friends have cried on each other shoulder for a week, or something, and they've managed to make even me nervous about it) but Sinisa showed a impressive overconfidence in the press conference and this is just making me more and more nervous.
But!, how good is to have Gila back and probably playing tonight? :)

My face during the whole match. Thank you, Tank.

The only good news about this match is that Mutu is still a Fiorentina player in his heart that, luckily for Sinisa's men, Adrian is still the same ass and he got sent out for trying to kill Cassani, and so. Nothing happened in ninety minutes, to be honest, except for Artur playing God and saving Fiorentina's ass for a couple of time, one so spectacular to earn him the eternal love of the tifosi.

So. I'm late, no wonder, but the last month was a hell, with school and tests and a lot of personal issues, and so, I'm doing all the work of the last month now. May you forgive me.

All the match, summarized.

A match pretty much thrown away by Fiorentina. They played undeniably better than Lazio, but wasted a lot of chances in the second half, so Klose ended up being a bitch again by scoring in the last ten minutes. What else? Tifosi are getting rough with Sinisa again, Silva is going to be renamed The Useless One and, uh, LDS was pretty much useless too. However, Monty and Valon are doing a lovely couple in the middle of the field :) speaking of playing, of course.

Fiorentina 1 - 2 Lazio
Marcatori: 8' pt Cerci, 28' pt Hernanes, 38' st Klose.

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Montolivo, Behrami, Lazzari (36' st Kharja); Cerci, Jovetic, Vargas (10' st Silva).
Lazio: Marchetti; Konko, Stankevicius, Dias, Radu (20' st Sculli); Ledesma, Gonzales, Brocchi (15' st Lulic); Hernanes; Klose, Cissé (31' st Matuzalem).

90 photos of nothing, pretty muchCollapse )

The main news of the week are Pazzo getting protective with his girlfriend boyfriend and Gila getting nostalgic of the team and saying to everyone who's listening how much he loves Fiorentina and how much he want to stay here now and ever. A pretty boring week, if I had to say for them, 'cause my world turned upside-down almost a couple of time in this seven days and I'm definitely going to be mad

No words needed.

\OOOO/ they won! And Jojo scored twice, the defenders were amazing, Monty did his best even if the tifosi were against him and generally was a very good match, a bit slow in the first half but amazing in the second one or at least, that's what I've been reading since Wednesday, because my streaming was a bitch and I could see just the end of the second half. Very good to see the boys so focused and determined, even without Gila.
I don't know how long it will last, but now it's good, very good to see them playing this way.

Fiorentina 3 - 0 Parma
Marcatori: 1' st Jovetic, 16' st Cerci, 36' st Jovetic.

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri, Gamberini (41' st Nastasic), Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo, Vargas (25' st Kharja); Cerci (29' st Romulo), Silva, Jovetic.
Parma: Mirante; Zaccardo, Paletta, Lucarelli, Gobbi; Eduardo, Morrone (27' st Blasi), Jadid (37' st Galloppa), Modesto (22' st Crespo); Biabiany; Floccari.

100ish photos of the match, with a specific focus on JojoCollapse )

So, on Saturday they're going to play away with Napoli. So, on yesterday they played with Napoli and the piscpam is on its way, I swear. I just hate the midweek turn while I've got homework to do.

So, Gila and Krol are still out, Gulan has apparently recovered from his injury but he's disappeared somewhere, Sinisa's talking about playing well no matter the result and I'm getting more and more worried about the match against Napoli scheduled for tomorrow night. *Sighs*

Lazzari's still out for a fever, but he's expected to be back for the match against Napoli scheduled for Saturday. With Gila out for the next month and more, Sinisa said that the Tank will got the start, but I hope there'll be a bit of room for little Adem too, before he gets covered with dust.

Sinisa: “RAWR!”

So. *Heavy sigh* As I was saying last week with roadtoharmony, as soon as they could, they proved wrong me and my faith in them, because the match against Udinese was crappy.
Truth to be told, Udinese was amazing, really, so there wasn't this much that boys could do, but between this and the way they played there was an abyss. The midfield was a black hole, Monty was the shadow of himself (they keep on saying that's because he's nervous, but he's the one who put up the whole mess with the society, so I don't understand why on Earth he should be nervous about something he did), the play was generally sloooow, JoJo and the other strikers were invisible, Gambit caused Udinese to win a pk very early in the game and Gial decided out of the blue to break his knee in a very potential dangerous way, so.
Welcome back to your old self, Fiorentina.

Udinese 2 - 0 Fiorentina
Marcatori: 8' pt Di Natale (PK), 29' pt Isla.

Fiorentina: Boruc; Cassani, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo (16' st Vargas), Kharja; Cerci (23' st Silva), Gilardino (25' st Munari), Jovetic.
Bologna Handanovic; Benatia, Danilo, Domizi; Basta, Isla, Pinzi, Asamoah (16' st Agyemang-Badu), Pasquale (42' pt Armero); Torje (30' st Abdi); Di Natale.

70 photos of fail and hurt GilaCollapse )

So, the next match will be a midweek one, tomorrow against Parma. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

So. A new shiny layout \o\ forzaviola forzaviola forzaviola.
I thought about this for quite a lot, before really doing it, but to me the result is fine :) For this wonderful header, let's all thank miss_hale.
If there are any problems with this new lay, let me immediately know. :*
(The picspam is coming, don't worry -- tomorrow, as soon as I come home from school.)

So, Gulan and Per are still out for a week or two, but Vargas is back and nothing hurts and the young bbPazzagli joined the group to be the third goalie, apparently.
Ah, and Mr President said that Monty doesn't want any renewal because he want a team stronger than Fiorentina, and obviously they are not happy at all, but apparently they won't kick him out of the team. *Heavy sigh* Let's see what will happen, but :\ to be honest, I don't believe this mess will have a happy ending.

As they say, a new start. And, hopefully, a good one.

That's the right way to start the new season! For almost the whole match, the boys seemed very focused and attentive, without the big mistakes we were used to during the last season. Gila, Cerci and Pasqual were impressive, Jo-jo was still out of condition but definitely improving since the match against Cittadella, Monty was gorgeous and people stopped booing him, all the new guys did very good and the defense was organized and very very good - even if they had a couple of hard times with Diamanti. It was a good match; not one of the best ones, but very good indeed, surely ways better than last season ones. Sinisa was happy, Gila and Cerci were happy, Cognigni aka Mr President was happy, Florence was happy and there's a general confidence about this season and everything, so, good work, boys, that's the start we were expecting!

Fiorentina 2 - 0 Bologna
Marcatori: 20' pt Gilardino, 2' st Cerci

Fiorentina: Boruc; Cassani, Gamberini (21' st Nastasic), Natali, Pasqual; Behrami (29' st Kharja), Montolivo, Lazzari; Cerci, Gilardino (36' st Silva), Jovetic.
Bologna: Gillet; Pulzetti, Portanova, Loria, Raggi; Perez (22' st Morleo), Mudingayi, Khrin; Diamanti, Kone (1' st Paponi); Di Vaio (30' Acquafresca).

150 photos, with an heavy focus on Gila and Jojo. I'm not gonna complain about thisCollapse )

So! This Saturday, there will be a match away against Udinese, and as Gila called it, it'll be very insidious. Let's see, I'm really looking forward to it, 'cause the boys looked very well and I'm hoping they'll do their best in Udine!

Serie A is officially going to start ♥! So excited about this, I can't wait to see them tomorrow. Speaking of the match, Krol and Gulan are the first in the broken list, even if I don't know why, so I assume this is the true start of our season.
Other news, ADV has just inaugurated a new sport center for the first team, which looks totally awesome, and in the last days of the market we've bought this guy, AKA Santiago 'El Tanque' Silva, Jo-jo won some kind of prize (I can't imagine how they can award someone who spent his last season away from the pitch, but still) and Primavera won the Supercoppa against Roma.
