Andrew

I am a clinical psychologist by training with prior professional roles in biostatistics and software development. I direct the Center for Advance Healthcare Research Analytics (CAHRI) at the Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies (ICRHPS) at Tufts University. I am Co-Director of the Informatics Core at Tufts Medical Center’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). I help lead support for research informatics and related care delivery infrastructure at Tufts Medicine (TMed). I lead federally-funded research projects that use and expand the OHDSI ecosystem in several areas including geospatial data, waveform and other telemetry data, neuropsychiatric data, and oncology data. Our group at Tufts provides free access to high-fidelity synthetic OMOP data for education, software development, and other purposes (The Tufts Synthetic Dataset). We also help to deploy and administer OHDSI infrastructure and train and support communities of users. We also help support the development and contribution of community-contributed vocabularies. I co-lead several OHDSI workgroups including the GIS, Psychiatry, and Medical Device workgroups, and am a liaison between OHDSI and related open science communities.
