HI Nvidia engineers,

Under a full-load scenario at MaxN 130 W with an unbalanced workload, does NVIDIA expect that throttling may occur even when TTP remains within the 80 °C specification because Tj can exceed 90 °C? This interpretation is derived from the mechanism in §4.3 and the thermal resistances in Table 3-1; please help to confirm

Yes, in that scenario Thor may throttle due to T.SoC exceeding the SoC’s recommended operating temperature even though T.TTP does not exceed 80.0°C. Some other relevant sections of the Thor Thermal Design Guide:
