Sdkmanager does not work

Hello Nvidia community!

I’m trying to boot a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB by following the getting started instructions. I flashed the sdk image for Jetson Orin Nano onto a 64G microSD, and I can get the splash screen that says ESC for setup, but at the boot stage the screen goes blank forever.

I did some research and it seems sdkmanager is needed to get the SDK to boot. After getting set up with the Nvidia website, when I run the application on a Ubuntu 22.04 machine, it goes through the process of logging in with Firefox, and then the sdkmanager window says “Oops, no sdks configured in your account”.

I read the sdkmanager user manual, and I could not find details on this problem. Does anyone have any tips getting a Jetson Orin Nano 8G to boot, or alternatively any tips on getting sdkmanager to work?
