Problem with lidar lite v3 with jetson orin nano

Hello,

I have a working LiDAR lite v3 with raspberry pi. But when I use this LiDAR lite v3 sensor with jetson orin nano, the power pin of 5v drops to 1.5v. I provided an external power supply to the LiDAR and made the ground common for the power supply and the Orin nano.

Still the LiDAR lite v3 is not getting recognized on 0x62 address in bus 0.

When I move this sensor back to raspberry pi, it’s working fine.

Also my other gpu implementation on the nano are all working fine.

Any help ?emphasized text

What do you mean?

Which pin do you mean? If Orin nano can not be supplied with 5V, it won’t turn on.

I meant the board is working fine other wise when using PyTorch cuda applications. (Not related to this)

Thanks

It’s pin2. This drop was observed only when I was using this pin as supply for LiDAR lite device.

When I switched to an external 5v supply then this stated at 5v.

Hi

it’s solved.

The LiDAR lite appeared on bus 7. All working good.

Thanks
