I’m running Linux and do not have easy access to a Windows computer with Excel installed. This seems to be a requirement for working with the file ‘Jetson_Thor_Series_Modules_Pinmux_Template_v1.3.xlsm’. For older releases of Jetpack and for t19x series of SOCs I can find the script ‘pinmux-dts2cfg.py’ that seems to be something that can be used outside of Windows. But I can nit find this script in Jetson Linux 38 for Thor.
Is there any other way to work with pinmux settings outside of Windows Excel?
you can directly try to changes pinmux ctrl register settings value using devmem command. But this is again temporary after booting, and it wont be retained once you reboot the unit.
I’m running on Ubuntu 24.04. I see now that the original request was a bit unclear and should have been running without Windows and Excel, pure Linux env. I can happen it works in Windows+LibreOffice, haven’t tested.
I’ve only used the PINMUX on Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04, so maybe there is something needing an update when running a newer libreoffice calc. That’s also something someone from NVIDIA could try to reproduce, from 24.04 (I’m not currently set up for that either).
