Nucleus user creation

Hey I have couple of questions concerning Nucleus Navigator and Nucleus Enterprise.

in Nucleus Navigator is it only possible to create a user by an admin to access a Nucleus server or a user can create an account by himself and maybe get some rights defined by default? I don’t seem to be able to create an account when I access the authentication link.
Comparing to your documentation, I have the same UI but without the create account option. I’m running the latest Nucleus Enterprise docker available on NGC catalog and on the Navigator it specifies version 3.3.6 (version 3.4 is not yet available on NGC?)

Also a user that gets connected on Nucleus is directly associated to the users group. is it possible to define default groups or it’s only the “users” group that’s by default.

For a Nucleus Enterprise instance downloaded via an NVIDIA Developer account, what are the specific terms for free usage? I understand it’s meant for testing and development, but I don’t require an Enterprise License, as I’m not using any GPUs with Nucleus. On the other hand, for the Kit app, we are developing our own application, and I see that free access is allowed for that. Could you clarify the terms in this context?

Thanks in advance for your clarifications

I am not sure you even use Navigator to create an account. That is just a browser. I think you would need to do it another way. Let me ask @dlindsey about this.

I can speak to Nucleus. Looking at your image, it looks like you’re still connected to localhost, which would not be your Nucleus instance. (though maybe that’s just the example image?)

That field is disabled in Nucleus Enterprise. If you want to create accounts for new users, you must log in as your admin account (omniverse and the master password you put in the env file). Create the user and send the link to them.

Users cannot be automatically added to a different default group, this has to be done after they log in.

Also, Navigator 3.4 will be deprecated in October, with Launcher is deprecated. Navigator 3.3.x included with Nucleus Enterprise will be the supported version.

Thanks for your answer. It is indeed the example image I took from the Nucleus documentation.

Do you know if user creation can be done with an API call for example or a third-party Identity Provider?
What about authentication? (for a user that already possesses an account)

Thanks in advance for your response.
