Detailed Description

I have searched for a solution for hours. There seems to be little help for windows version.

I have installed Isaac Sim serveral times with the same results.

I have modified the isaacsim.exp.base.python.kit as per the instructions.

I have loaded the assets as per the instructions.

Internet is turned off

With the GUI open. I can Create the enviroment “simple room” and then create robot “Franka Emika Panda Arm with the Assets Examples. I can also animate the arm with no problems.

Now I bring up the Isaac Sim Assets(Beta) tab and the green circle thing rotates at each asset catagory. Then I press the gear icon and select “Check Default Assets Root path” and a window pops up, Isaac Sim assets found: C:/isaacsim_assets/Assets/isaac/5.1/Isaac.

As the green circle moves from each asset catagory, in the cmd line browser I get: invalid URL: Https://omniverse-content… It’s looking for the asset online. If I go online it will find the assets.

When I right click on , say Enviroments; “Collect” pops up, left click and “Collect Paths’ list is empty” is displayed.

How can I correct this situation so that it uses the local assets.

Just an Addition:

The Content Tab has a Selection “Isaac Sim” . When the mouse is hovering above it , a message “https://” is shown, Then I expand the directory so it now shows all the catagories and hover the mouse over each catagory where a message shows the local paths.

Thanks in Advance

Please follow the steps in the Assets section of Setup Tips — Isaac Sim Documentation and use the recommended Content Browser instead of the Isaac Sim Assets (Beta) Browser. Also, keep the internet connection enabled while verifying that the assets are accessible.

If the issue persists after following these steps, please share a short screen recording for the reproducing steps.
