Additional Information

What I’ve Tried

Tried 5.0 and 4.5. They all have the same issue.

@rainforce i am just another user, but the first thing that stood out was your driver version on the 4090 mobile. can you confirm if the issue persists after upgrading to the recommended driver specified in the technical requirements for Windows?

and if you have Intel’s integrated driver, it’d be a good idea to disable it from the device manager as well.

Sorry. I had a typo. The driver is 581.42 that I have and it is the recommended driver for windows. I don’t see the intel display driver in the device manager => display adapters. It only shows the nvidia card there.

Could you please upload or copy the full Isaac Sim log file?

kit_20251112_130538.log (6.3 MB)

The log is attached.

just to circle back per our convo, it appears by setting vulkan = off in the .kit file seems to address the crashes in case there are other users experience similar issue on Windows.

@rainforce Thank you for sharing that switching to DX12 resolved the crash. I noticed you’re currently using version 581.42, which is listed in Technical Requirements — Omniverse Developer Guide. Would you be able to test Isaac Sim with Vulkan and the recommended driver version 580.88, as specified in Isaac Sim Requirements — Isaac Sim Documentation? This could help confirm whether driver compatibility is the root cause with Vulkan.
