Hi everyone!
I’m trying to use one Nvidia L4 for my virtualization lab.
Core is Hyper-V hypervisor on Windows Server 2022. I need to check is it possible to use one L4 on several VMs for AV1 session encoding. It should be Windows server 2022 VM with terminal role. Windows 11 single or multisession. Now I can dedicate one GPU only for one VM in one same time.
Set-VM -Name VMNAMEHERE -GuestControlledCacheTypes $True -LowMemoryMappedIoSpace 3Gb -HighMemoryMappedIoSpace 65GB
But I can’t use one GPU with several VM in same time.
Even I install grid driver for my host with Hyper-V.
Add-VMGpuPartitionAdapter -VMName $vm
And GPU starts showing in the VMs. I can’t use it or install any drivers what I have. I’m trying grid driver as on host, copy driver from windows folder on host, regular driver from Nvidia site.
As can I see, it should be driver for Hyper-V and drivers for guest VMs. But I can’t to download it from Nvidia Licensing because it shows me “Your account is currently under review. You do not have access to software downloads at this time. Please check again in 24 hours and contact NVIDIA Customer Support if you still see this error (1004).” for a week. But I have trial license for “NVIDIA Virtual Applications-3.0” and “NVIDIA RTX Virtual Workstation-5.0”.
NVIDIA Customer Support send me to NVIDIA Enterprise Support.
NVIDIA Enterprise Support told me find a solution in Nvidia Developer
So, can you help me with me lab?
Or can anyone share these drivers with me?
