Can't run Unreal Engine with Jetpack 5.1.2

Hi,

I’ve been trying to get Unreal Engine 5.3 to run on the Orin with Jetpack 5.1.2. It fails due to Vulkan as reported in Cannot creat a Vulkan device, Try updating your video driver to more recent version.

I have tried building the samples as recommended, although it’s not entirely clear to me how that would resolve the issue at hand.

Either way it seems there are a lot of broken links (like https://nv-tegra.nvidia.com/r/linux-5.10 or https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/jetson-linux-r35.4.1) and I haven’t been able to download the required sources, especially public_sources.tbz2, to build.

Hi,
We don’t have experience about Unreal Engine. If it is based on Vulkan, it is supposed to work on Orin Jetpack 5.1.2. You may try our samples:
Cannot creat a Vulkan device, Try updating your video driver to more recent version - #15 by DaneLLL

And check the code:

/usr/src/jetson_multimedia_api/samples/common/classes/NvVulkanRenderer.cpp

And see if you can enable Unreal Engine by referring to our reference samples.

Out of interest, how well does UnrealEngine run on Orin? and what are you doing with UE on Orin?
