How to downgrade your license

As there is no easy way to downgrade the license, you must first cancel your upcoming renewal. After this, you can go ahead and purchase the new package that you would like. If you have already renewed your subscription, you can request a refund and let us know that you want to downgrade instead.

Once you have your new license key, follow the guide on updating your license key under Formidable → Global Settings.

When you switch the connected account to the new license key, your forms, entries, Views, and styles will remain unaffected and still be accessible on your site.

What happens when you downgrade

When you downgrade to a lower license level, you may lose access to add-ons not included in the new license package. You will continue to have complete access to all the add-ons compatible with your new license level.

Before canceling your current license and downgrading, it is important to check which features might become unavailable. Downgrading your license could result in the disabling of specific features that were available in your previous license.
