Who are we?
The First Nations and Inuit Food Security Committee (FNIFSC) was born in 2019 in response to a growing interest in food security issues among the Indigenous communities in Quebec. Its objective is to promote collective engagement around issues such as food security and sovereignty, entrepreneurship, school nutrition, leadership and volunteerism. The FNIFSC is made up of six permanent organizations and its decision-making is done by consensus.
