Matched Pair generator
Select armies then click 'Match pairs' to generate a list of matched pairs from the entered list
This generator is designed to generate a list of Historical Opponents from the list of armies entered, with a single match for each army entered. In order for this to work correctly it is important to provide a unique name for each army.
To include more than one army of the same code, add a second row (i.e. if you want to have 2 x II/5b, includes it in the list twice). If you wish to prevent armies being matched with the same army, select the 'Avoid Civil Wars' checkbox.
Order of preference for matches: Armies with a single match in the list, Non-Civil War matches, Civil War Matches.
Please note that armies can only be matched with other armies in the list, and each time an army is matched it is excluded from further matches, so if there is a three-way match (e.g. II/5b matches II/5c and II/15) then one of the armies will be reported as unmatched.
To load from a file the file must be in CSV or TXT format, with each entry on a new line. Each entry should have an Army Code and a Label, separated by a comma - e.g. I/1b, flyinggoatcreations OR flyinggoatcreations, I/1b.
To avoid civil wars when loading from a file, select this option before selecting the file.
Matched Groups generator
Select armies then click 'Match armies' to generate a grouping of armies that contain enemies in the entered list
This section is designed to allow people to enter a list of armies that they (and/or their gaming group) own, and discover which of those armies do not have an enemy within the entered list.
