The API Logs<\/strong> feature stores all records related to API activities in your forms in one place. It is especially useful for checking whether any particular API actions were successful, failed, or are still in progress. This article will give you a quick overview of the API Logs<\/strong> feature under Fluent Forms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

API Logs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To learn where you can find the API<\/strong> Logs<\/strong> and their functionalities, follow the steps with Screenshots and GIFs below \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember<\/strong>, here you can see only those form entries\u2019 activities that have any Action<\/strong> occurred within them. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

First, go to Tools<\/strong> from WordPress Left Sidebar<\/strong> or Fluent Forms Navbar<\/strong>, click the API<\/strong> Logs<\/strong> option in the left menu, and you can see all the API logs of your forms on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filter Your API Logs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

However, if you want to see activities of a particular form or action, this page has four filtering options with dropdown lists to filter your forms. These are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Form<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Source<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Status<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Date<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Form<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    In this dropdown, you will only see those forms that include an integration feed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For example<\/strong>, I selected Contact Form<\/strong> (it includes Platformly integration feed) from the dropdown list by clicking the Arrow Icon<\/strong>, and the two Contact Forms<\/strong> available appeared.

    2. Source<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Here, you can filter your logs based on different integration feeds, and these options you will find based on the integration occurring within the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For example<\/strong>,  I selected Zapier Feed <\/strong>from the dropdown list by clicking the Arrow Icon<\/strong>, and all the forms that includes Zapier Integration have appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Status<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    You also have the option to filter your API logs based on the Status<\/strong> (Success<\/strong>, Failed<\/strong>, and Processing<\/strong>)  of your Forms\u2019 Actions related to integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Date<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    With this option, you can filter your activities by selected Dates<\/strong> to see actions for specific days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Check Single API Log<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    If you want to see the API data of a specific form in a brief without checking the individual entries in detail, click on the Arrow Icon<\/strong> just before the Submission ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you wish to view more detailed information for a specific entry, click on the desired entry<\/strong> number<\/strong> under the Submission<\/strong> ID<\/strong> column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here, you can see the overall detailed submission information of a user for this particular Entry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To check specifically the general API Log, scroll down to the Submission<\/strong> Logs<\/strong>, click the API Calls <\/strong>tab, and you will get all the details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If your action didn\u2019t occur successfully, you can use the Resend Email Notification<\/strong> and Entry Action<\/strong> button to manually complete the desired action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Replay Action for API Logs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    If you want to re-run an action (e.g., reprocess the integration for this entry),  you can do it by simply clicking the Replay<\/strong> button under the Action<\/strong> column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can also re-run all the API Logs Actions at once by clicking the Checkbox<\/strong> placed just before the ID<\/strong> column, or you can re-run by selecting the API logs individually<\/strong> based on your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then, click the Run Selected Actions <\/strong>button, and all your selected logs will be processed again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Delete API Logs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    If you want to delete any API log, you can do it simply by clicking on the Delete Icon<\/strong> under the Action<\/strong> column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can also delete all the API Logs at once by clicking the Checkbox<\/strong> placed just before the ID<\/strong> column, or you can delete by selecting the API logs individually<\/strong> based on your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then, click the Delete Selected Logs<\/strong> button, and all your selected logs will be deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
