FluentBooking offers a dynamic Availability feature to streamline booking events. This feature simplifies scheduling and prevents overbooking conflicts.
Events Management #
Hosts can create multiple events and assign an availability schedule to each. This eliminates the need to create custom schedules for every event, saving time and effort.
Time Slot Flexibility #
Events can be set up with various time durations, such as 15, 30, 60 minutes, or custom durations. FluentBooking’s Availability feature automatically calculates and displays the host’s free time for booking meetings.
Configuring Availability #
Configuring availability is user-friendly with FluentBooking. Detailed instructions are available in the documentation for easy setup.
Shared Availability #
A powerful aspect of FluentBooking’s Availability Management is the shared availability schedule for all events created by a host. This means that if a time slot is booked in one event, it becomes unavailable for booking in all other events of that host during that time.
Example Scenario #
For example, if a host has two events:
- Event 1 with 60-minute slots
- Event 2 with 30-minute slots
Suppose the weekly schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. If a booking is made for Event 1 from 9 AM to 10 AM, the slots between 9 AM and 10 AM become unavailable for booking in Event 2 as well. This ensures efficient scheduling and avoids overbooking conflicts for hosts.
I want to use this as a booking system but do not want to limit the slots available to only one meeting in the calendar in a slot, I would like to be able to book more than one client in at a time so each show in the calendar. My scenario is that a slot may already be booked for example 3 hours, but if we get finished early then I would like to still be able to book another slot in that time frame incase so we can still meet with someone else who is flexible on our arrival. How can this be achieved? in which setting?
Hey Mark,
Currently, there is a group event type in FluentBooking that allows you to create events, enabling multiple users to book their spots in the same time slot. However, there is no option to reduce or extend the meeting duration. You must set the meeting duration in the Event Settings, and each meeting will be scheduled according to that predefined duration.

We have have two people that can do demos of our product.
Suppose we want people to be able to sign up for a 9am or 10am or 11am demo.
We want to allow for 2 sign ups a each time spot before that time spot is no longer available.
Is this possible?
Hey Jim,
Yes, it’s possible with FluentBooking.
Hello,
Is there a chance to turn off this shared availabilty feature?
I have my appointments on-site and sometimes I have 3 meetings in different rooms in the same time. I also would like to see them in the same Google Calendar.
Hey Zsanett,
Currently it’s not possible to turn off the shared availability feature.
Hello,
Is it possible to take into account the unavailability planned in our schedule? I work with Nextcloud to manage my calendars.
Hi Mathieu, Yes, FluentBooking automatically takes your unavailability into account if you’ve integrated your Nextcloud calendar.
