Project Role and Contributions
Flow served as a strategic advisor to the Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) during the planning and execution of the 2022 Point-in-Time (PiT) Count on homelessness in Saskatoon — a federally coordinated initiative to gather data on the local unhoused population.
Brought in during a high-pressure, fast-moving timeline, Flow provided targeted support across the design and operational planning phases, working closely with the project lead and advisory committee.
Key contributions:
- Strategic Planning Support: Advised on overall methodology, logistical planning, and engagement strategies to ensure alignment with federal standards and local context.
- Event Coordination Guidance: Provided real-time input on event structure, team deployment, and contingency planning in the lead-up to the count.
- Advisory Committee Collaboration: Acted as a core advisor to the PiT Count advisory group, helping guide decision-making under tight deadlines and high-stress conditions.
Flow’s involvement concluded following the completion of the count event. This engagement reflects Flow’s ability to deliver high-impact, time-sensitive strategic guidance to community-led initiatives.
