Name the fandoms you written in, and how much you've written in that fandom. , and if you still write in it.

Primarily I've written in supernatural and supernatural RPF. In those two categories, I have probably written a little more in RPF, but this year I've written quite a bit of Sam/Dean, so maybe at this point it's pretty even . I'm absolutely still writing it; I just posted two stories this month and I have one more story lined up to post after the New Jersey convention. I have once more story storyboarded out, & a couple more ideas kicking around, but obviously I am slowrd down with the whole broken-shoulder business. I'm using my speech to text program for this meme, so I'm kind of hoping maybe I could do a little story work on it as well.

The only one I've written for as well is NCIS. I really really enjoy writing in NCIS, & I keep saying I need to write more in it, or give myself a little more time to write in it. I've had to bow out of the NCIS big bang three times now, and while maybe that's too big a commitment, I do enjoy NCIS. I've written in the last few years for the Halloween Tibbs and for the NCIS Advent calendar, and the stories are written for those events I've been super super happy with and they have been very very well received. I enjoy the characters in that ensemble a lot, there are some very colorful ones that are a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed my OTP which is Gibbs/Tony.

I really enjoy reading SGA, but I have not really dared to write in it. There are so many people who are so much more well versed in it and familiar with it that I think I'm a little intimidated .

And that's really it, I really have not written in any other fandoms.

Drabble meme from milly_gal -

Post a drabble about your current icon! No fair changing!

***

Charlie decided to stop by Hallowed Grounds--a hot cup of Dean's breakfast roast and maybe one of those tiny jam tarts would be just the thing for a mid-morning treat before she opened Moondoor Comics.

The boys were leaning against the front counter, looking over the shop and deep in discussion. Maybe Sam had another idea, she thought.

Their heads were close together as they talked in low voices, both sets of legs crossed at the ankles as they lounged. As one, their faces turned to each other and smiled.

Charlie froze. How did I never see it before,...

***

NO LIE, I wrote this and it was 100 words first try. Never happened before, probably will never happen again LOL!

As seen at tipsy_kitty and meus_venator's Livejournals....

Post your first 21 lines from your last 21 fics! As it happens, I have written 20 fics, although I do have my 21st - for Wincest Big Bang - ready to post on the 17th! So here are my 20 first lines from ALL the fics LOL!

1. Jared was by nature a helpful kind of guy, and being so tall, people were always asking him for assistance.

2. "S'ok, sweetheart. Promise I'll take it slow, be as gentle as I can," Jensen soothed.

3. Michael was disgusted.

4. Jared Padalecki was thirteen when he discovered his first great love – karate.

5. On Saturday morning at 7:45 a.m., the temperature in Shermer, Illinois was beyond brisk, the mercury plunging

headlong into bonechilling.

6. Sam and Dean were tooling down the road in the Impala when Cas spoke from the back seat.

7. It was over.

8. Sam and Dean drive through the Iowa cornfields, watching the tall stalks rippling in the August sunshine as they head down the road.

9. Sam's head hurts.

10. It wasn't as hot as she'd imagined; rather than a pure, fiery heat, it was more dense and smoky - like a pig roast and a fall leaf burning combined.

11. It's the night before they move on Carthage, where the plan is to shoot Lucifer with the Colt.

12. Sam's been back for a few weeks now, and Lisa is just grateful that he's not staying at the house with her and Dean.

13. Jared wandered downstairs, rubbing his eyes and following his nose.

14. Of course, all week long there were the jokes.

15. The snow fell deep
down on Navy Yard,
as scenic a picture
as any Christmas card.

16. Tony stewed as he rode in the back seat of the limo.

17. The pay phone stood off to one side of the gas station, its chrome winking in the sun.

18. Gibbs gassed up the lawn mower and rolled it out of the garage.

19. Jensen showed the bouncer his ID, paid the cover, and entered the club, nervousness and excitement mingling inside him.

20. The Major Crimes Response Team (MCRT) bullpen was quiet.

Pip asked me these questions!

1. you should talk about tv!

I like tv! :-) I adore anything Whedon. Buffy is key, so is Firefly. I really liked Angel and Dollhouse, with Dollhouse in the ended-too-soon categgory. I really like Glee. I'm an original Star Trek fan, and yes I watched it FIRST RUN as a child. I do like Next Gen, especially Picard. I resisted likeing NCIS for a long time, then I caved and now totally adore it. I like the bad movies on SciFi channel, although I miss the bad sci-fi movies of my youth that used to be shown on things like Creature Feature and Elvira. I love b&w movies, musicals, and Hitchcock. I'll get hooked on a show in syndication and watch the entire run devotedly, a I did with ER. I just started watching Stargate-1 on Netflix, and I'ved already watched the first two seasons of SG-A, which I love. Last couple of years my peak favorite is Supernatural (in case no one got that with all my SPN icons...). I love the show, the mythology, the fandom, and the slash! In fact, SPN is pretty much the show that really sucked me into slash. Love the actors, went to a con last year, would do so again at the drop of a hat, had I the bucks. Hoping for next year!

2. you should talk about your icons! which ones are your favorites, which ones you requested specifically.

Well, any icons with Carole or Firesign10 on them are from comm offers where they put forth a batch of original icons and then will personalize. All my fandom ones (NCIS, Dean/Sam/J2) are from comms in those fandoms. The rest are found as I go through LJ. I have the extra icon package becaue I like all my pretties :-) Favorites - right now I really like my rainbow-farting unicorn, my "support mica/no hate" from one of Mica's friends, the chick looking at teh egg going "Pete! Is that you?", Gibbs standing behond yellow tape that says "Caution! Killer Smile", and every single one of my Jared and Jensen ones LOL!

3. you should talk about ... why you named your kids what you did

Becca is Rebecca Lynn, and her dad picked it. The cool thing was I came home one day and he said "How about Rebecca?" and he didn't know that it was truly one of my most favorite names! Lynn mostly because it had that good, short, middle name feel. If she had been a boy, she would have been Matthew Stuart.

Ethan Lee - well, Mike and I just both really liked the name Ethan. When you know you're gonna say a name one million times, you try fpr a name that sounds and feels good :-) Lee is Mike's dad's name, and Mike's own middle name, so we thought it sounded good and had the paternal liniage thing going on. If he had been a girl, he would have been Emma.

4. you should tell me what your dishes look like! are they a randomly eclectic bunch of stuff that has found its way into your kitchen? are they a matching set of adult-like china? are they all plastic? are they rainbow-colored?

I have service for 12 in black stoneware, that was the dishes we got from the wedding. It's really nice and we liked the very plain yet sophisticated look of it. Right now that is all in the attic, though, and we're using a Corelle set that my stepmother gave us from her mom's things. I actually was able to find more pieces of it on ebay, so I was able to round out the set with extra stuff. It's very simple, just white with a grayish-blue band. Way easy with the kids. I do like fiestaware, and I would totally do the mixed color thing - I love the deep blue, the teal, the gray, the red.

5. what is your favorite clock in your entire house?

The one I have here in the dining room. It's square but not flat - it curves out in the middle, and the border of it is a good 3 inches of brushed finish steel (nnot really) metal.

6. when you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An actress. Some writerly desire was in there too, but definitely an actress.

7. what is the one thing you've made that you're most proud of? kids don't count.

Oh gosh...oh okay. My wedding dress (first wedding), and also the bridesmaid dress Becca wore in 2007. They were challenging but manageable, and it's a delight to work with really pretty material.

Because I haven't done one in a while -

you are deepskyblue
#00BFFF

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

Nabbed from martina_d -

1. Favorite Halloween candy?
Dark chocolate!

2. Scary movies- love or hate?
Depends - I don't like gore, but I like a good spook. Also the cheese factor is high is spooky movies (like old Dracula movies!) and I loves me some cheese.

3. When you were a kid, what were your Halloween traditions?
Trick or Treating, that's all. Oh, we did jack o lanterns too.

4. Do you decorate for Halloween?
Yes I do! I'll be working on that this weekend probably.

5. Whatcha gonna be?
I haven't dressed up in a long time - probably just do a Halloween shirt (which, I need a new one!)
