Great week. Even some rain yesterday hasn't dimmed the vacation lustre. It's cool and overcast today, but we're just hanging out.

Yesterday I had the terrific pleasure of meeting sammichgirl!!! She rendezvoused with Becca and I for dinner and some mall-cruising time. Mike, DaddyMark and Ethan went as well, but they all went to see Despicable Me 2 while we got our fangirl on :-) Sammich was so warm and delightful - we laughed a lot, did a LOT of fangirling, and had a really lovely time. She's talking up the Arlington con to me - I was tempted when it first got announced last month, and now I am REALLY tempted!! I would love to go to a con in the first place, and getting to go with some LJ friends - especially having now met one IRL! - would be AWESOMELY fun!! Despite being further from CT, it might actually be easier to get there than New Jersey, plus I could visit my stepmother afterward for a few days. Mike is really for this plan, so soon as I get home I am looking it all over and making a decision.

Today is *sigh* the last day. This afternoon I'll pack stuff up. Tonight we're going out to dinner, as we've eaten all the food. And tomorrow morning, we'll head for home.
