Jéssica Muzy

I have a PhD in Public Health from the Postgraduate Program in Public Health at the Sérgio Arouca National School of Public Health (PPGSP/ENSP), with a master's degree in Health Information and Communication from the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program (PPGICS/Icict/Fiocruz ) and a degree in Social Sciences from the Institute of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IFCS/UFRJ).I am currently working as a researcher at the Health and Aging Information Group (GISE) and at the Information, Public Policies and Social Inclusion Center (NIPPIS/Icict/Fiocruz), both linked to the Health Information Laboratory of the Institute of Communication and Information Scientific and Technological in Health (LIS/Icict/Fiocruz) and certified by CNPq. I am also linked to the Disease Burden Study Center at the Sergio Arouca National School of Public Health (Ensp/Fiocruz) and the Lung Cancer and Tracking Research Group (Capuras Group), which brings together professionals from Ensp/Fiocruz, UMass , INCA and UFRJ.I have experience in research in the areas of Public Health and Epidemiology with a specialty in the topics of health and aging, health of the elderly, health of people with disabilities, social and health indicators, secondary data analysis, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, evaluation information quality, time series, spatial analysis, worker health, ergonomics and the study of chronic non-communicable diseases, with special emphasis on diabetes mellitus.
