They mostly referred to the souls lingering between the living and the divine. There are many types of them, and this paper is specifically concerned about the human-headed bird imagery; and how it is depicted in different ways and what are their symbolic meanings in many cultures. This specific imagery appeared in many different mythologies along history; such as the ‘Ba’ in the Ancient Egyptian, ‘Sirens’ and ‘Harpies’ in the Greek and the Byzantium, the ‘Humayun’ in the Mesopotamian and perhaps in the Islamic too; and eventually, the ‘Alkonost’, the ‘Sirin’, and the ‘Gamayun’ in the Slavic mythology. An analytical comparative study of this imagery in different mythologies and in the paintings by different artists, such as P. Rubens, J. Pasch, V. Vasnetsov, and M. Vrubel; will be followed.

Nevertheless, in the contemporary times the impact of cultural globalization, politics and international economy around the world has increased, making it difficult to preserve the cultural heritage and benefit from it in the development in contemporary works of art and culture for future generations. Consequently, it will be difficult to implant in them the culture of belonging. It is therefore important to find ways to preserve the authenticity of culture through the management of arts and culture and to develop strategic plans to ensure sustainable development in this area.
The labor market in the field of visual arts as well as the other creative and cultural industries have widened since the middle of the 20th century and flourished by the end of the century on a global scale, so that career opportunities such as cultural policymakers, art curators, museum managers and marketing experts in the cultural industries became important and needed to secure sustainable development in such a field. Thus, the local and the global labour markets demand some development in higher education, for graduates to keep up the pace with regional and international needs and be able to solve the rising contemporary problems. It’s also important to take into consideration the great numbers of Bachelor degree holders from artistic institutions that lack the talents and still pour into the local market every year. Those graduates might have sufficient knowledge about a certain art discipline but not enough talent to become a practicing artist nor the skills for the labour market.
Therefore, to benefit from those numbers it’s important to develop the higher education including its levels of graduate and postgraduate degrees, by introducing multi. and interdisciplinary studies related to the creative and cultural industries. And to do so, it’s important to view the highest-ranking programs around the globe at different levels. However, for accuracy, the research point focused on the highest-ranking Master's programs in the world among the top 50 programs in 2017, stated by the <<Eduniversal Group >> on (www.best-masters.com). Eventually, it was found that the top four programs were European while holding the first rank is: The Master in Arts Management and Administration (MAMA) in SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy.
Various courses were found in the field of management and Business administration for the arts and culture, then they were summarized under several points, which would constitute broad research areas for academics and form the seeds for many courses in the bachelor and the postgraduate degrees to suit our local and regional market through their carefully formulated objectives.
Conclusion:
In order to develop educational programs that are in line with the local and regional artistic and cultural work market, academics should be linked to various fields of tangible and intangible art and culture, and with fields media and tourism, and business administration, to conduct extensive scientific studies of the labor market in creative and cultural industries locally, regionally and internationally. As the requirements of the present age urge the cooperation of different disciplines in the development of solutions to contemporary problems and will open the way for graduates of those disciplines with different backgrounds to study and work together.

Some of them existed in many different belief systems that are geographically distant, such as the Bird-Human and Human-Bird types that appeared as: the Woman-Bird Goddess in the Neolithic period in Europe, the Ba in Ancient Egypt, the Mesopotamian Gods like Anunnaki, Harpies and Sirens in Greece and Rome, and Bird priests in China, etc. Each of them played different roles according to its culture of origin, nevertheless, the core symbolical idea behind the figure might be similar. Mostly, hybrids are considered as medial beings that play a sort of a bridging role between two different dimensions, characteristics and elements. Thus it could be said that the Bird-Human/ Human-Bird hybrids are medial beings between earthly and heavenly realms because of the birds' avian characteristics mixed with the earthly manners of human beings.
This research is mainly concerned about the archaeological origins and the aesthetical development of the Bird-Human and Human-Bird types of hybrids, through an analytical comparison between representations from the prehistoric period to the early Bronze Age, located in the Ancient world around the land of Ancient Egypt between Ancient Europe in the west to the Mesopotamia in the east. Moreover, shedding the light on the similarities and differences of their core concepts and iconography.
Key Words: Ba, Bird Goddess, Hybrid, Human-Headed birds, Harpy, Siren.

Executing an analogy between pictorial representations of numerology in both civilizations through an analytical comparative study mainly sheds the light on the conceptual similarities of archetypal spiritual aspects in both systems of belief and their different pictorial representations in relation with numbers, in order to benefit from the old in finding new means of expression.

A.D. (Analytical & Comparative Study) is a dissertation prepared by the researcher Rania Hussein Elhelw in the Faculty of Fine Arts – Helwan University in Egypt and the Faculty of Art History, Ludwig Maximillan University in Munich- Germany, to attain the PhD degree in the philosophy of Fine Art- Painting from Helwan university in Cairo. It is composed of four parts; the first presents the historical origins of Theosophy with a detailed definition of Theosophy and the Theosophical Society. The Second presents the artistic spiritual ambient at the turn of the 19th century explaining the relation between the Symbolists and the Nabis Theosophy; the third part presents some works by artists in Europe in the 20th Century before Second World War providing a description of how the artists had perceived theosophical ideas which aspects of theosophy were highlighted in their works. And the fourth will present Theosophy’s influence presented in paintings
from Russia, Canada the United States of America in the 20th century. This is to be followed by the conclusion of the over all study, where the results of this research are presented in a glossary of symbols used with Theosophical representation in two groups; the first is for geometrical shapes and numerical figures (with their multiples) and their meanings, the second is for formal symbols.
Methodology: A comparative study presented through a comparison between the form and its meaning in a composition having a Theosophical influence. This Study will be done through research in the following different queries:
First: what is Theosophy, what is the Theosophical Society what are their principles concepts?
Second: how were the artists introduced to these principles?
Third: how were these theosophical concepts presented in art? Are there certain themes for Theosophy in art?
Fourth: is there a common aspect between the artworks with theosophical influences?
Fifth: is there a certain iconographical representation in these artworks?
The researcher used different resources from the Theosophical society’s online publications in addition to several published scientific papers in international journals linked to the OPAC data base of the Faculty Art History, Ludwig Maximillan University in
Munich, beside the Art History books specialised in the topic of spirituality and esotericism published in different countries.
Keywords in the Research:
Theosophy - Esotericism - Hermeticism- Occult - Mysticism- Spirituality - Syncretism - Cabalism - Buddhism - Hinduism - NeoPlatonism - Alchemy - Rosicrucianism - Transcendentalism – New Age.
