- Upload the plugin files to
/wp-content/plugins/sh-webp-optimizer - Activate the plugin through the ’Plugins’ screen
- Go to Settings > Media to configure quality and dimensions
- Upload new images or use the bulk converter for existing images

Does this require an API key?

No. Everything runs on your server using PHP Imagick.
