First teaser trailer:

This is set in the Supergirl Returns universe, combining elements from the most recent Batman movies, Superman Returns, Supergirl, and various other fandoms. Supergirl doesn't actually make an appearance, but she's around... The setting is present day, e.g. 3rd season for Person of Interest, several years after Superman Returns, after The Dark Knight (but with a happier outcome) for Batman.

This is just a weird idea I've had in my head since I saw the Dr. Who finale and realised that most of my objections to a DC Universe / Dr Who crossover were no longer necessarily valid.

This is a DC Universe / Dr. Who crossover; it’s a sequel to my earlier story The Return, a DC universe / NCIS / West Wing / Bones crossover, although only one character from the earlier story appears here. Minor spoilers for The Return; major spoilers for the finale of the last series of Doctor Who.

I'm putting in a scene in which Supergirl attends a literary lunch hosted by the First Lady at the White House. Does this sound about right for costume?

As the meeting ended Helen Santos posed with Kara for the benefit of the photographers, and said “I think you’ve made the fashion magazines very happy today.”

Kara was wearing another Kryptonian costume, this time a long red open-fronted kaftan with voluminous sleeves over a blue dress with deep red boots. Small replicas of the usual ‘S’ logo were embroidered in gold along the edges of the Kaftan. “It’s the formal wear for a student of the House of El. It seemed appropriate.”

“You really ought to get that cousin of yours into a different outfit.”

“I’m working on it.”

Does this sound vaguely plausible / attractive? Here's a fairly crude attempt at depicting it:

OK, I should REALLY finish off some of my old stories... but needless to say I've started another. This is going to be a multiple crossover, so far the crosses are NCIS / West Wing / DC comics, probably more to come.
