This post contains a list of possible stamps and some tips and information on how to making sorting decisions.

NOTE: If you haven't yet submitted an application, I would avoid reading this guide until you do. If you read the descriptions here first and then submit an application, they'll be fresh in your mind and may make you unconsciously biased toward one class or another. Instead, submit your application, then come back here when you want to sort other people. :)

Let me know if you have any questions / are confused / think my descriptions are terrible. :)

The Application Process

Here's a detailed summary of how applying works:

1) Copy and paste the application into a new post to the community. Fill in your answers.
2) Post the entry and it will go into a moderation queue.
3) Wednesday is typically the latest day you can post an application and have it be stamped in the same week. After that point it will be held in the queue until the current batch of applications is stamped (Saturday after 3 p.m. EST).
4) Once you get stamped, the mods will give you more information about joining your team community and other communities that are part of ff_land.
5) Introduce yourself to your new team and you can begin participating in challenges right away! :D

HTML Help

Some tips for preventing & fixing HTML mistakes in your code:

• The application puts everything behind a cut so if you don't mess anything up, it should remain that way. But if you find that the cut didn't work, refer to this article about how to use lj-cuts.

• Your answers should all be after the </b> tag that ends each question.

• Make sure you're in HTML mode. When you post an entry, in the top-right corner are two tabs -- Rich text and HTML. Be sure to select HTML.

• Preview your entry before you post it. You won't be able to tell whether your cut worked, but at least you'll be able to see if you accidentally bolded all your answers or if the HTML got mangled.
