Let's see. My sister had pneumonia last week, a friend from high school got married Saturday, and I leave for Uni this Saturday.

Today, I 'reviewed' (meaning I copied down the vocab and marked the ones I couldn't immediately remember how to pronounce or what they meant) chapters 12 through 15 of my previous Chinese textbook. Still haven't gone through the first text again, but I think I'd be bored enough to poke my eyes out at that point. My clothes and books are packed for the most part, and I didn't really unpack a lot of my other drech.

I rediscovered my love of MSTing badfics and such, and have passed it on to my sister. Reading it because my randomized playlist reached Alanis Morissette's song with the same title, and it totally fits. In my mind, anyway. Go coping mechanisms.

I'm debating whether or not I should bring a) jewelry, b) my gargoyle, c) other random decorative items to the dorm, or if I should wait until I see how much room there is. (I have plenty of posters, though...) I hope Kuri-chan hasn't changed her mind about bunkbeds. I am determined; see my determined face. More space in the room is always a plus. I'll get a bookshelf once I'm up there.

I'm really behind on uploading dorksidefiker's fics on my website. (Speaking of, 200+ hits!) And there's a dearth of updates, it seems... then again, I've sped through the new chapters at my usual reading pace -- therein could lie the problem. *le sigh*

Note to self: finish adding amarin_rose's fics to the archive.

The visitor count is up to 173 on the site! w00t. And there are 150+ stories. *grins* I just got caught up on dorksidefiker's (I was like, thirty stories behind), and added the new chapters for "Never say let go" (yay crossovers!) and...yeah. brain=dead. definitely using the morning icon again.

time to go read/reread. any rec's?

Anyone know where I can find a digital copy of Danse Macabre? My sister has it, and won't let me read it until she's finished. Which won't be another day or two. Bah.

In any case, I'm back from vacation! Very tired. We made tiedyed shirts a few days ago-- I'm wearing mine now. I'm a bit envious of how my youngest sister's turned out, but I lurve my rainbow burst thing. *grins* I think we may do it again saturday.

Oh, and I finally started watching the Smallville dvds I got for Christmas. Watched the first ten episodes-- I only vaguely remember the tenth from when it originally aired. Though, watching does give some clarity to character attitudes in fanfiction... perhaps I should do this more often? Watch/read the originals I read fanfiction for, that is.

Internet connection. I'm having fun, am actually tan //shock//, and... i dunno what else. 67 visitors!!! And the gamers club page is up and working, but no one here was really involved in it, so... whatever. I am happy with my web skillizms so far, but I'd like to get more work done. So. Anyone want a website designed? You give me a general outline/framework that you want, and the content for it, and I can attempt to design it! Granted, I kinda suck at making graphics, and I'm not l33t or anything but... *shrugs*
