this is seriously backdated, but lj is the only way i can seem to track my periods... by bitching about the cramps. this time was spent in my mom's bed with a heating pad and my handheld. heh.

I get to go home this weekend! w00t! And St Augustine before that! And, well, thats the plus side to the cramps... its less likely i'll get them this weekend if i have them today...

I missed calc today. More correctly, I skipped it because my cramps started getting worse during lunch, and when I was waiting for the bus to get back to the dorms, I started showing signs of the dizzy/hyperventilation/all-around-badness. Lips and face tingling, headache, feeling hot and flushed and clammy all at the same time.... Yeah, not to any severe degree, but I missed calc to go lie down and take a nap with my beloved heating pad. Its wonderful...

Anywho, yeah, I've changed my livejournal layout, again. I didn't read the fic that goes with this pic (which I need to alter a bit, put the artist's name on it, etc...), but I thought it would be a perfect blog background. Can't have userpics with this layout -- sacrifices, sacrifices...

on a rant about hamlet lately. and, just found a way to connect it all.

My interpretation: he's paranoid-delusional and schizophrenic. Ever watch The Secret Window? (stephen king movie, johnny depp) Hamlets like that. Horatio doesn't really exist. Havent decided whether or not the ghost exists, but whatever it said, Hamlet imagined. Horatio is Hamlet's "John Shooter". Kinda.

So anyway, Hamlet has this idea that everyone's corrupt, he must kill them. Not exactly that but you get the drift. Horatio doesnt exist. The only interaction that Horatio has with others (to my best memory) is at the end, when Hamlet is dead, and he's talking to Fortinbras. To that effect, Horatio is not a figment of Hamlet's imagination, but a part of him. Hamlet -- that portion of his psyche -- dies, but the body, and Horatio's personality, goes on. Either Horatio is Hamlet's ghost, or Horatio's identity/personality becomes the dominant one for Hamlet's body.

I know there are flaws, but I have to go do my chinese homework and study for the quiz tomorrow.

Yeah, my day's pretty much sucked...started my period...had the cramps from hell....we don't have heating pads here, so my mom went and bought one, though this was about two hours into the cramp session... erin was being really nice to me... She's really ticked off at a lot of ppl... I'm using a lot of ellipses...

Anywho, I've decided to rename my website A Comfy Cave ... having "A" instead of "The" is a bit different for my pattern of titles, but hey... plus, i made my second skin for the site, which is the default one now. Its nice and peaceful and green. I made a shitty banner for it, cuz I don't have the materials to make a nifty leafy one, and the disclaimer at the bottom is nigh unreadable (for some reason, the font won't change colors, no matter how much tweaking I do). Screw it. Nothings on the site anyway except a couple of G-rated portrait sketches Amy made, so it doesn't really matter, right? *crickets* But just in case, I'll put a disclaimer on the front page.
