Weather what?
Apparently it is time for it to be crazy windy in Chiba -- I'm talking wind gusts up to 73 mph, according to my little weather gadget, eek. It's 5:40am. Woke up at five to it being kinda scary noisy outside, and have since closed the storm shutters and jammed my thumb.
Was just contemplating recently how strange it was to live somewhere without lightning storms (there were like, two, total, around when I got here, and none since), and then this happens. No lightning that I've seen, and hardly any rain, but wind out the wazoo.
