Ah, the saga continues...
10:50 Adam mumbles "need help"...
And while I wait for the next bit...here's an update on my life! Today, I was forced to go hiking. Up a mountain. Mt. Monadnock. Not the easiest fricking thing for me to do. I spent SEVEN HOURS alternately hiking, climbing up rock inclines, and resting my tush. My ankles are swollen and blistered, my knees are killing me, and my toes feel crushed. Plus, tomorrow I'm going to have to deal with the bug bites. gah.
Some info: The trail was approximately two miles long to the peak (and we had to go there and back, duh), not including the steep inclines. And the mountain is 1100 feet tall, I'm assuming from the base (not from sea level).
I was dying. I started dying not even a quarter mile into it, and my dad stayed with me so we could go slower than the others (my uncle and sisters and cousins). So we ended up being two hours behind them by the end of it. On the way down, I slid down the steeper, smoother areas on my butt, so my knees wouldn't give out. They were shaking very hard by the time we got to the car. Also, all I'd had with me was a bottle of iced tea, and my dad didn't even have any water. We met some people near the top, and I joked about how I felt like I was approaching heat stroke, and she gave me the rest of her gatorade. She was so nice *sniffle* I really think I would have blacked out by the end if it wasn't for that. I was already getting dizzy spells... not too bad, but still. And my vision was going bad. I dont have sunglasses. I should. I hate not being able to see properly. My worst dreams are like that -- everythings fuzzy, or more often than not, its really bright (like desert movie sepia bright), and its impossible for me to even look up above ppls knees, nevermind see anything well.
Anywho...I'm gonna go back to reading that leather fic i mentioned in the last entry...
11:27 - Just read the last chapter...dammit...where's an update when ya need one??
12:21 - Adam says (quite loudly) "May".
