Ugh, things

Blah. I'm on LJ to read fic, usually (and damn, I really need to stop obsessively refreshing, lol), and so I generally just skim over any non-fic posts until formatting catches my eye. Kinda irritated that there's apparently infighting (or in-snarking, at least) between members of my flist. But, whatever. Can't agree all the time, I suppose. (There's a labeling error on one of the posts that I want to poke at, but I'm trying not to get involved. Too much stress all around.)

Actual update things: my sisters arrive tomorrow! Woo! I still have to work, so that's five days where they won't have me around to chaperone/act as tour guide, but I'm sure they'll manage. Somehow. The current plan is to go to the Mt Fuji area (or Hakone) and spend the night, and go to Tokyo Disney on Christmas. Also, there's a classical concert on my day off Friday, so I'll get to venture into Roppongi with them.

Now I need to actually go to bed, because tomorrow kicks of Christmas Party week at work, and so my first class -- the playgroup with two 3 yr olds that I dread normally -- has to be Christmas themed. I have no clue what to do. Their moms are always in the room too, which also adds to the nerves. Le sigh. It's an early class, too. And then I have adult classes that I need to think of something for too. Gah gah gah. (Kids classes, at least, are rather formulaic, so I don't have to worry much. Coloring sheets, construction paper and craft activities and games with carols in the background, and I'm good.)
