Been sewing again. This time, I have some awesome wine colored stretch pinstripe, and I'm almost done with a pencil skirt! Am currently being lazy and will be topstitching instead of facing the waist, and the bottom will likely be hand done. Also, need to haul out the serger and do all the seams. But its cute, and tailored! I have a muslin pattern and everything now, so spiff.
This might also help for the whole paneled loli-skirt thing, too, just flare the bottom a lot (will be uneven for the back, which would be 2 panel instead of three, but I like back zippers more, anyway).
Will need to make a vest to match the skirt at some point, and possibly a jacket. The skirt took less than a yard to make, and I'm pretty sure there was around 4+ yards left on the bolt when I got it... hmm.
InTwitter other news, I am sick. Blergh. Am also being really really lazy at roleplaying. But since I'm in the process of overthinking character creation for the next set of plot things, I'm letting myself be lazy on thefaceofboe.

Might be on late tonight, but probably not until tomorrow. Will not go on another week-long hiatus, but I do not have the attention span to play something for days on end. Except Monopoly, Phase 10, and canasta. I can, however, research some topic or plot bunny for a very long time before committing, so that's what's going on right now. I'll have to make an RP-locked post on what I've got so far later.
