Back from JACON. I must say, I think this is the most fun that I've had at a convention in forever. Recognizable cosplay? Check. Panel-going? Check. Contest-going? Check. Dealer's room shopping? Check. I even managed twenty minutes in one of the video rooms.
Yung et al had booths in artist's alley, so I hung out with her a bit, and I think I may have managed to meet every rabid Gundam Wing fan at the con. Several times over. :D I was cosplaying Zechs, btw. All pics of me are on other's camera's, so like usual, I won't be able to post them. Yet. (I always say that, don't I...)
Apparently I inspired one to draw a kitty!Zechs pic, and discussed with another (*waves* hi Amber!) the dearth of In the Mouth of Madness updates. She also happened to convince myself and my Wufei (*points at Laur*) to do a pairing pic. Lets see... other things that happened include: I was forced to make the excuse for my lack helmet and say "Wuffie stole it because I wouldn't let him top."; write a "Yaoi for Cash -- Yes, it's a boy" for a fifteen year old crossdressing guy whose hair straightener had gotten stolen; failed at Star Trek trivia, but got a couple stickers at the Thundercrackers Panel; and got my picture taken even when I wasn't cosplaying, oddly enough.
Oh yeah. I have bangs now.
And as for not-so-fun news... I don't have a summer job yet, so that means I am required to work around the house. Joyous. ... I think I might go sew some goth-loli stuff.
