to do, to do...
I just noticed a marked preference in my own writing -- starting in the middle of something, then backtracking to the lead-in events. Hm. Now would be a good time for all my old stories that "mysteriously disappeared" (ie are lost in the black hole that seems to be every place I occupy...) to show up so I can compare story beginnings with chapter beginnings and scene beginnings... Perhaps its only the "interlude"-ish things that I find are like that, coming from a new POV.

~Grab "This Alien Shore" and "The Game of Rat and Dragon" (or that one cat stories anthology) for Ashi-chan and Kuri-chan...
~Find the ONE blue floppy (yes, that long ago) with one of my WIPs
~Find my other laptop. Unfortunately, its been misplaced, somewhere in the depths of the closet, most likely.
~Write the damn story I was spouting off about in the last entry. I've gotten one false start over with... I think I like the public setting I was planning on earlier... gah. Random passerby pov, not underling... though I probably will use Quatre, thanks Skeren.
~Umm... scholarships? Apparently, Saturday's roped off for that...
~Sketching! I haven't done much of that recently, and now I'm home, with my big pads of paper and charcoal pastels...
~Knitting! Again, in the category of "haven't done much recently". Plus, I have some mini-projects that'll serve as christmas prezzies for the cousins...
~...Organizing files! This seems to be a neverending project for me. I make my computer all spiffy and organized (except for the image collection), and then I get more stuff needing to be organized. And this will most likely get done over all of the other things on my to-do list.
~Except this. Christmas shopping. I'm not religious personally, but its customary, and yeah, family holiday and such. Plus, its fun! Not the spending money part, but the giving and getting of stuff, and happy thoughts of being thought of...
~Reading more fanfiction! Though that should be on the "things to put off" list, considering its quite literally an addiction for me... *sigh*
~Checking the updates on webcomics! Which... I shall do now.
