Back in my dorm room. Thought I'd mention that I have a new addiction -- The Authority. Dark witty humor, two married superheroes (notice the lack of "-ine" -- and may I clarify, to each other), and an irreverant take on the superhero complex. Even though I might not agree with the heavy handed "we'll set the moral code and enforce it" tactics of the group at times, it's so fricking hilarious. The humor I enjoy is wit, in the dialogue rather than in slapstick or actions. Watching someone make a fool of themselves is not my idea of funny...maybe that's why I love the humor in Joss Whedon's series, and the comic books I've been hooked on (namely Ultimate X-Men and this, so far) display a lot of sarcasm and snark to flavor the dialogue...

Ok, I'll shut up now and go read Apollo/Midnighter fanfic... yeah, those are the guys from the Authority. Shut up.

Well...after I check for an update to Friendly Hostility (a webcomic... so fucking hilarious, I recommend it).
