end of first week of classes...
oh my frickin word. I was nearly late for my buddhism class -- forgot it started at 3 instead of 4. And then I was headed towards the wrong building. But hey, I reached my class in 12 minutes. Including the time it took to rush out of the dorm, "run" (i practically have double charley's horses, how much can i actually run...) to the bus as the bus came, got off a stop too early, started northeast when I needed to go east...gah.
But I made it there at exactly 3. The prof had already handed out the notes, but hey, I don't think he marked me late (which equals absent in his class). Oh, and apparently, the class should count for the japanese major. Coolness.
I didnt end up signing up for the veggie class -- if i'm still interested, I'll do that next term/year. Maybe that'll decide whether horticulture is just a passing phase or not...
Hmmm.... I'm completely wiped -- well, not as wiped as last night, for some reason -- because of my one 830 class. 830 AM. But it turns out that Siddikha (can't spell her name) is in both my math [discussion] class and my chinese class. Coolness. She lives off campus, but she said she was interested in having me help her with the math. We hung out together during our third period break, then after Chinese, I showed her the shortcut to the HUB. Heh. Yay for socializing.
ppl are doing fire safety checks... I want to go hide.
