the heat...

It's officially summer in Tokyo -- the temperatures are getting up around 30, starting today. Appropriate, I suppose, as the first day of summer was yesterday, but ick, humidity...and a dearth of air conditioning, nevermind at the level it runs in the States. This summer, people are being encouraged to save power for rather obvious reasons, which means less A/C. Not that my school's usuallu have it, anyway. Electric fans all the way.

I guess there are a few physical things I miss from FL, though I usually deny it. A/C, pools...living somewhere with an actual yard :P
