So, in an attempt to actually message everyone with an update regarding the cancellation of HCC and the status of future events, LJ tells me that I've used up my alloted messages. WTF.

Anyway. Here's a copy of the message.

From what I'm seeing, circle participants from HCC have the option to transfer to the Osaka event next week, or get a refund on their tables. That means HCC will not be held at a later date -- safety concerns at the venue, as well as transportation and shipping issues were cited. The next event Akaboo has planned for Tokyo is Super Comic City in May -- no news on how this situation will affect that event yet.

In regards to Movies Paradise 14, the venue was checked and there is no damage, so the event will be held as usual. A circle list has not yet been released, but registration is closed, so I'm sure its just a matter of time.
