There is an arthritic Chow-Chow snoring a foot from my legs. I've been sitting here reading fic for an hour and a half now while knitting. The rest of my family is in the next room, playing/watching/shouting at video games on the big screen TV. I haven't seen my brother and his wife since last year at Christmas; there's a good chance it'll be that long till I see them again this year. There's turkey and stuffing baking right now, and we'll probably eat within the next half-hour, but we have a little time yet. I'm so not finished with my dad's scarf, and I'm seeing him tomorrow. Damn.

Christmas Eve and Christmas have been lovely; this whole visit has been lovely. I'm working sideways through a strange case of anxiety, but somehow it hasn't ruined my holiday, which I'm grateful for.

I hope your Christmas (or whatever holiday you may or may not be celebrating right now) is going grandly and you are surrounded by your loved ones and all the things that make you happy. ♥
