The agents return after having tailed Father Yohn and the priests, secure in their judgement that he and his posse must be somehow responsible for Father Szary's death, and in some way, responsible for the mystery affliction at the Kings County Medical Centre. INDIGO does more digging in what she recovered from Gleeson's personal computer, including her research into the occult, on Szary's advice. Her research focused on the history of the Gowdie family line. Her research revealed that the Gowdies were once of Scotland, and that an Isobel Gowdie had been tried for witchcraft there in 1662. Further research indicated relatives of Gowdie relocated to the colonies in New England, and later on were tried again on suspicions of witchcraft in Salem, records name a "Tabitha...

Part Four: " Nearer, My God, to Thee " Parts One , Two , and Three Writers note: This, and the next few, weren't written right after their sessions, and so certain details are going to only be half-remembered. Apologies if it gets confusing.  7:00 AM, 11 March, 1999. Queens, New York.  I-Cell (and Nancy) awaken, haunted by what transpired at the morgue. Irena doesn't feel sick after a night's rest. No weird dreams, no surprise visits in the night.  The STOKER team fixates on two persons of interest. Imogen decides to lean on the resources of the IRS to investigate Amber Gowdie, the subject of Father Rozsavolgyi and Szary's fateful exorcism in 1980, meanwhile, Irena and Isaac meet with Gabrielle Gleeson, the gay rights activist who had become a close confidant with Father Szary, posing as journalists. Indigo decides to investigate Gleeson through less direct means, and looks to hack her personal electronics. All the while, Nancy takes the day to surveil Father ...

Part Three: " Pushing Up Daisies". Part One and Part Two . 3:00 pm, March 10th 1999 Sylvia Pontecorvo, known in Delta Green as Agent Imogen, sits in the office of District Attorney Lydia Friel. Pontecorvo had crossed paths with years earlier, after Friel's own investigation into the background of Vasili Karpov was blocked by Ed Collins, an agent of the CIA, who Pontecorvo later spoke with, which is where they learned Karpov was truly Fedor Berezhkov, a SMERSH and later NKVD agent who defected to the West under protection by the CIA. The CIA were concerned Friel's investigaiton would expose Berezhkov, thereby damaging the CIA's credibility in protecting and hiding foreign defectors, which undermined Friel's case against Karpov, in conjunction with meddling in the trial by Tadjbegskaya Bratva.  Friel explains to Pontecorvo a few of the things she was able to dig up on NYPD Homicide Detective James Olaerrva through connections in the NYPD Police union.  Part Two: " The Body and the Blood" 3:00 PM, March 10th, 1999.  Agents Irena, Indigo, and Imogen return to their safehouse in Queens with the mysterious briefcase that Indigo had snatched from the adept following Dr. Monpierre. On the way there, they buy plastic tarps, jumpsuits, duct tape, and a crowbar. They haul the heavy briefcase to an empty room and prepare to open it. A chamber covered in plastic tarp is thrown together, and Irena volunteers herself to attempting to pry open the briefcase with the crowbar. She is successful at doing this, though ends up splashing its contents across the room, getting some on her skin.  The briefcase contains a viscous, black substance that stains everything it touches like ink, it is thick, heavy, warm, and absolutely foul-smelling. Also in the briefcase is a plastic bag with clothes and various small weapons: a hatchet, a hammer, a steak knife, a meat tenderizer, a garrote wire, and set of brass knuckles. Part One: " Hear Me " Agents receive their summons from Iago, it's been hardly a month since their raid at Cornucopia House in Maryland, they aren't expecting to be summoned for a field operation so soon. The summons comes in the form of a text-to-speech robotic voice that demands a password from a book code from a variety of books, a collection of poetry from the Chinese Revolution, Paradise Lost, the Encyclopedia Brtiannica, etc. They travel to Queens, New York to receive their briefing at a Delta Green safehouse near John F. Kennedy International Airport. 10:00 AM, 10 March, 1999.
