Welcome to familyoflight, as some of you may know I have kindly borrowed the phrase "Family of Light" from the teachings of the Pleidians channeled by Barabara Marciniak although I assure you this is not a Pleidian based community nor does this community focus on any one spiritual path or certain set of teachings in general. This is a sanctuary for people of all walks of life and those on many paths to come and share their beliefs and experiences for the purpose of showing others how these many paths interweave and intersect and eventually lead to the same destination. Feel free to share any and all insights and inspirational words of wisdom. Anything is welcome from quotes from books, song lyrics that seem to have hit a place deep within your heart, thoughts that come to you throughout the day, anything and everything that YOU feel is sacred to YOU. I've heard it said many times that the only absolute truth is that which you make absolute for yourself. My absolute truth may not be your absolute truth but neither of us are in the dark.

We're living in a very exciting time on this planet where many people are waking up and realizing that there is more to this reality than meets the eye and that every single one of us are called to fulfill our own individual purposes in this life for the betterment of ourselves, our families, our countries, our world and our universe. Being a member of the Family of Light means that you are a bearer of Light. What is Light? Some say Light is energy, some say it's consciousness, some say it's information and some say it's Love. Whatever your definition of Light, you are to be a living example of the Light that radiates from within your heart as you pour this Light and Love out into the world. This Light is what unites us. It is my belief that we are all ONE, a Divine energy existing in infinite variations for the sole purpose of expressing itself and for self-discovery. There is no seperation. There is no division. There is only Light and Love. But let me state loud and clear that this is not about teaching any one belief. This is about many beliefs coming together so that you may find what fits with YOU, the member. This is not about religion, though members of ALL religions are welcome here. This is not about some orthadox teachings or belief systems. This is about Light and Love. I'm very excited to welcome you here and I hope that through this community you may find that which you seek inside of yourself.

JUST A FEW REMINDERS:
As I have said, members of ALL different religions and walks of life ARE welcome here and are free to share their beliefs and experiences but this is NOT a convert_me style community nor is this a debate community. Do not cast judgement upon any member of this community based upon their religion. Telling a member that their belief is wrong will be given a warning and if one persists and proclaiming that THEIR truth is absolute and that another person's truth is false and invalid you will be banned. This community is about religious tolerance. But this is really the only rule. That and spamming/trolling/flooding will result in a ban as well. Any posts promoting hate, arrogance and zealousness will be deleted. Other than that, this community is open forum and open discussion. Even posts not relating to spirituality / metaphysics / religion. Socializing is welcomed!
