#29’s Result – A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout

I cannot tell you how many times I have checked this book out from the library, sat down to read it, read the jacket copy and flipped through a few pages, then set it back down and gone to do something else. I have given it many chances over the years. Now at last I have removed it from my TBR (where it was added almost exactly 12 years ago). Time to move on!
#30’s Selection – Popular Fantasy
This is another post I planned for Wyrd & Wonder back in May. So the theme for the next edition of “I Can’t Believe” is popular fantasy. (I considered narrowing that to ‘nautical fantasy’, but that felt too limiting.) To choose titles, I sorted my to-read-fantasy Goodreads tag by date added, ascending and selected the first four titles that I’ve seen frequently mentioned around the blogosphere. Hopefully I have better success with one of these! I’ve been feeling disenchanted with most of my reading choices lately. A good fantasy might be what’s needed to get me back into it.
- The Tethered Mage by Melissa Caruso (added Jan 2019)
- Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (added Apr 2019)
- The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams (added July 2019)
- For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten (added May 2020)

So, which book should I read next?
