Atobe seems to be under the impression that people find him more attractive than me. I mean come on, if you were to, hypothetically, employ the services of one of us, I think we all know who you would pick right? To settle this little dispute, I have made an unbiased poll to prove him wrong. Whilst making your decision, please remember that, not only am I considerably older and more experienced mature, I am more flexible than Atobe can be we all know the boy only ukes..., and unlike Atobe, I do not openly advocate incest. I mean, who knows what lewd sexual practices he gets up to, he'd probably tie you up with barbed wire and poke you with a blunt pencil or something...

Who would you rather spend an evening with?

Atobe 'Uke' Keigo
15(27.3%)
Echizen 'Awesome' Ryoga
40(72.7%)

So, who else have I been bestowing my glorious presence upon I hear you ask? Yesterday Kaidoh-kun and I played a match. Obviously, I won 6-3, but it was really fun. It's nice to have a decent opponent once in a while. Especially one with such well toned arms... ;)

After Kevin-kun so kindly gave me ten thumbs down for no reason, I have decided to open up drabble requests, because I want my thumbs up back ;___;. I suggest you all request one. Give me a pairing and a promt, and I'm write you something amazing, because I don't really know how to write badly, yo? I'm not so familar with some of the fandoms around here, but I'll do my best. Which will probably be like, really good.

Ahhh Kevin. If I didn't know better, I'd almost think you didn't like me ;)

I mean I'd act surprised. But I think we all knew that anyway. Heh.

Kaidoh came round today, it was really to see Chibisuke. But then Ryoma got all huffy and stormed off, so I Ryoga, being the gracious host that I am, had to keep him company. Not that I minded all that much, Kaidoh is pretty cool, but this is just so you all know, not everyone in the Echizen family is as rude as Ryoma. He's really mad at me now though, and I don't really know why. What did he want me to do, leave his guest all on his own? Che.

Then I went to the store to buy some milk. It struck me on the way how cold it's gotten recently, what with it being nearly winter an all. Cold enough for a jacket anyway. I saw a guy wearing mittens, but he looked pretty dumb because it's not anywhere near that cold yet. But it also got me thinking. Would he have looked so dumb if he had had my charms and rougish good looks? I concluded probably not. Ergo, I shall be investing in some mittens come winter time. Although, you know, my birthday is around then, and Atobe did ask what I wanted...

Today it has come to my attention how stupid a large amount of the general population are. I don't claim to be anything of a genius, having had *ahem* a less than plentiful amount of formal education but whilst watching 'The Weakest Link' today, I was horrified to hear a contestant answer '6' to the question 'How many limbs do three people have?' Prehaps this is a worrying trend, the contestants on 'Deal or No Deal' rarely deal at what would be an appropriate moment, many of these shows I find it entirely too difficult to watch. Not to mention that most of the contestants are somewhat lacking in the looks department.

Despite how it may seem, I have not spent all day watching cheap daytime TV. No indeed, I have been extremely busy, doing er, important stuff. I did however have time to take Chibisuke out for dinner. He was good company, I guess ;)

Anyway, I digress, I digress. After a lengthy conversation with Kevin-kun the other day, in which he asked me to teach him some new moves, I had a rather good idea. I, Ryoga, tennis ace, often have *ahem* a bit of spare time, and many of you wannabe tennis players have the drive and determination to better yourselves, but without the neccessary skills to make it to the top. You see where I'm going with this?

I'd be happy to help any of you little guys out there, because you know, I want a decent opponenet to play once in a while. I won't even charge you much. So just drop me a note, and I'm sure I'll be able to fit you in somewhere ;)

On another note, it seems a large number of birthdays are fast approaching. I am currently weighing up how far buying presents for people I barely know will aid me in my quest for BNfdom.

Well yes, it doesn't take a genius to work out that Ryoga Echizen is back in town. I told you all not to worry ;)

Where have I been I hear you cry? Well just about everywhere to be perfectly honest. How I managed it in just two weeks on such a frugal budget is a secret I shall keep to myself, because I may be able to bottle it one day and sell it, but suffice to say I visited all of the 7 continents, apart from Antarctica of course snow is no fun unless there is someone smaller than you to throw it at, climbed the Eiffel Tower, Sears tower, the Sydney Harbour bridge, went down the Grand Canyon, and the Marianus Trench, saw Jesus in Rio, saw the Queen in London, the Pope in Rome, and the Stingray that killed Steve Irwin ;_____;

So overall a pretty good trip.

I can safely say now that my travel bug has been temporarily satiated, so there is no need to worry about me going away for a long while yet ;)

It seems like some strnage things have been going on while I've been away, namely Chibisuke has grown a lot hotter taller. We could practically be twins now eh? I was of course born first though, musn't let anyone get confused....

It also appears that only three people have bothered to rate my entry for the Ore-sama Olympics, which either means it was so bad you all hated it and couldn't even be bothered to read it ;_; you didn't know where to find it, or, no that's really the only option. Never fear, you can read it HERE (Wow, that even rhymed ^.^)

Chibisuke, I told you I'd get you a gift did I not? I was sipping a coctail on Waikiki Beach whilst the idea came to me, brilliant as it was. Sure it doesn't really look like you right now, but I really didn't think you idolised me as much to grow so quickly, yo? ;) So yes, I got some quirky local guy to paint a characature of us both. Obviously you weren't there, so I just had to tell him to make you slightly shorter and uglier than me. I think it turned out pretty well...

Tadaaaa......Collapse )
I always noticed you don't have many posters in your room, I'll help you put it up later if you want. Oooh, and tell me the time and venue of my welcome home party, I wouldn't wanna be late ;)

Dad, you still remember me right? ;____;

After the less than warm welcome I recieved from Chibisuke after my return, I was kind of expecting the rest of the people around here to be similarly grouchy and unrepsonsive. Well, I have been pleasantly surprised, I must admit, it seems that the brat's unsocial tendacies have not spread as quickly as I may have feared.

Today my hug tally is 2 not involving Chibisuke :(. Which isn't bad for a first day I guess, new guys asking for hugs may seem suspicious, even if they are as attractive as me, so I think I did pretty well. Although I read somewhere that you need 6 hugs a day just to survive, 8 for growth, and 12 for happiness. I refute this claim, seeing as I'm still alive, but it would be interesting to see how my happiness improved with more loving for the Ryoga-man. Any volunteers? My embraces are quite legendary you know.... ;)

After conversing with princess_isobel, who seems to have mysteriously disappeared after I discovered that she was actually a mermaid, and also Atobe, who I was excited amused to discover had once been a squid trust me to miss all the fun X_x, my love for seafood seems to have reawakened somewhat. I have a possible fic idea that may or may not borrow heavily from 'The Little Mermaid', but I'll keep you avid readers posted.

And as much as I hate to disappoint you all, I am going on a short vacation. It could be a week, could be two. But never fear, I'll definitely be back ;)

Chibisuke, this time, I expect some sort of welcome home celebration. No excuses.

Dad.... please try not to forget about me this time ;____; I'll miss you

((OOC - I'm away for two weeks, during which time I may be able to get the internet, or maybe not XD))

Yo, I'm Ryoga. Fashionably late I assure you.

What's that you're thinking? I look somewhat familiar? Prehaps like an incredibly attractive and mature version of princeofwriting. Or maybe a nanjimonai minus 15 years and 15 lbs. Sadly I must admit to being somewhat related to these two specimins, however, I believe such a tragic tale is for another time. I wouldn't want to ruin your enjoyment of my first post with a heart rending tale that will leave you sombre for the rest of the day.

So I hear you asking? What has the newest, and lets face it, most charming member of the Echizen family got to offer? My answer? Come and find out for yourself. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed ;) I also play a mean game of tennis if that's your thing.

And Chibisuke? I must say, I'm highly dissapointed you didn't arrange a surprise party for my return, but I guess I'd settle for a hug.
