The default value is beginning is 0 and step is 1<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>choice(sequence)<\/code><\/td>\n<td>Generates a randomly selected element from a non-empty sequence. If the sequence is empty IndexError is thrown by the python compiler<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>seed(seed_value)<\/code><\/td>\n<td>Initialize the random number generator with a seed value. Returns the mapper<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>shuffle(number_list)<\/code><\/td>\n<td>Randomly reorders the elements in a list<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>sample(type, x)<\/code><\/td>\n<td>Returns an X sized random samples from a type such as a list or set<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><code>uniform(beg, end)<\/code><\/td>\n<td>Returns a random floating-point number within a range<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/figure>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-1-what-is-cryptographically-secure\">1.1 What Is Cryptographically Secure?<\/h3>\n<p>The random numbers generated by the <code>random<\/code> module in python programming is not cryptographically secure. The securely generated random numbers use the synchronization methods to ensure that no two processes can obtain the same data simultaneously.
