This protocol is free to use and independent. It can work both bilateral as well as in combination with roaming hubs. Everyone can participate in the development of OCPI.<\/p><p><strong>Current OCPI version is: 2.3.0<\/strong>. This version is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">compliant with EU NAP (AFIR) regulations, contains vehicle types for locations, is extendable, and contains optional Payment terminal and Booking module<\/span>. (Version 2.1.1 is not supported anymore)<\/p><p>OCPI 3.0 is available in draft version &#8211; target release date is mid 2025. It is the aim that modules from 3.0 can also work together with v.2.30.<\/p><p>OCPI is developed and maintained via the Work Group OCPI Development from the EVRoaming Foundation. All Full Contributors of the foundation can participate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-98c6b20 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"98c6b20\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OCPI aims to:<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><h5><em>Accelerate the market for EV drivers<\/em><\/h5><p>A mature EV market needs a single communication infrastructure where all market players in the EV and energy sector are connected. New, integrated and profitable business models can be developed that provide flexibility and assure continuity of supply.<\/p><\/li><li><h5><em>Improve mobility services<\/em><\/h5><p>EV-drivers may expect to have an optimal user experience, regardless of borders, operators or equipment.
